Haven't picked up much in quite some time. Do have two projects that I'll be finishing up shortly, but in the meantime, I broke down and finally got of the gamers from the 19-20 Covid season. I just couldn't not add one of the masked set tags to my collection.

Size 54, shortened and tightened cuffs, and a handful of sleeve repairs. Still trying to photo match

Nice additions. I’m glad some members are keeping this site moving. It’s been such a ghost town here lately, I’m almost starting to miss the “TWSS” comments from that jerk from Staten Island.

Gonna try to keep this place alive as much as I can...

David Rittich Flames Game Worn RR

Worn in one full game against Calgary where he stopped 29 of 32 shots and then 12 minutes of relief in another where he stopped 4 of 4. Haven't had luck with a photomatch yet (I haven't worked that hard at it). Couple of puck marks on crest and shoulder patch.

I was hoping to have a reason to add to the "keep it alive" movement today, but NHL Auctions / Fanatics conveniently forgot to put a commercial invoice on the FedEx package. So yeah. F***.

Sweet Leafs retro goalie! I love how the off gray makes it look like it was used to clean a bathroom floor.

The grey is awful. If they used white, it would have looked 100x better.

I think it’s actually pretty cool, but I believe an off white cream color may have given it a cleaner, yet still vintage look to it.

After some frequent communication, for lack of a better term, I finally got my package in the mail and can post the GI ASG Demko jersey I won!...

Fanatics actually put a Game Used tag inside the jersey, though obviously as the Pacific division lost their first game, this one did not see game use. This one is awesome to have. I attended Demko's first NHL game and now I have one of the two blue jerseys issued for his first ASG!

Very nice!  I think the ASG jerseys looked very sharp this year.

Did you happen to hear anything about whether the players switched to a new set at the 10 minute mark of each one period game?  I.e., were 2 jerseys of each color actually worn in each contest?  Supposedly this was done at the previous ASG, but I have never been able to figure out which part of the game my gamer was used because Fanatics has such poor documentation- the info in the original auction and the website authentication page seem to conflict with each other, and no COA’s at all were given.

Why they weren't blue and cream I don't know. The numbers were hard to read too. Hopefully seen the back of them

I haven't heard anything certain in that regard, but one other collector I chatted with about this jersey figures Demko kept the jersey he wore and the blue jersey he didn't wear was auctioned by the NHL/Fanatics.

My best guess is that there were two jerseys of the main colour and one of the opposite made for each player. IE: Pacific players would have two blue jerseys (one for the SF and one for the final) and one white jersey, in case they won the first game and had to switch for the final.

That makes sense.  I figured though, if each player from a losing team kept their jerseys, there would be no game worns to auction for those players.  The league might have made considerably more money if they could have sold at least one game worn (as opposed to GI only) for players like McDavid and Draisatl, by switching jerseys at the halfway point of the game.  I can’t remember if all the Pacific Division player jerseys auctioned were only game-issued; I remember seeing some game worns offered but do not remember if those were only for the 2 divisions that played in the Final.  Wish I’d kept a link to the auctions.

I do agree the league missed an opportunity to have players wear two jerseys per game to make some more cash. Had they done that, I would have also hoped they would have made double the allotment of jerseys, cause there was no way I was affording a Demko GW lol.

I just tried to look on the auctions page, but I only see closed auctions from March 5, so not far back enough. I can say for sure, there was no Demko GW up for auction (only player I was looking for), so 2+2 = players who lost the SF games kept their GW jersey and the GI got auctioned.
