Man, their pre-edge designs were so much better than the style now. is that a twill nameplate on the RR gamer? Super cool you got the SCF gamer and gloves! As a Hawks fan, that was an amazing series. The Desjardins matching your avatar is pretty cool. I’m a sucker for anything old so that Eagle mesh is bad Arse. Yeah, I had quite a few pick-ups the past year. All Flyers gamers since Philly Express took over in 2009 have used twill nameplates. The only exception being the 2010 Winter Classics which used Ultrafil plates and the 2012 WCs which were felt. The 2010 SCF will go down in history as the most anticlimactic ending ever. I don't think that anyone except for Patrick Kane knew that puck had gone in the net If only Jeff Carter could have gotten that puck up and over Niemi into the empty net we probably would have gone to a game 7. The team was pretty sketchy with tagging jerseys during this era for whatever reason, so unfortunately this is untagged. However, I was able to match it to two games during the 2013-14 season to the loose thread on the collar and some puck marks. As a whole uniform I think it would have been better with tan/brown pants and gloves but I do like the jerseys. Have always been a fan of unique felt patterns like they do and I think the Sabres have done too (with diamonds or triangles). I may sound negative but I do really like it! great pickup! Decent wear and tightened cuffs on this and scored a hat trick while wearing this jersey against Carolina on 11/6/2016. Viktor Kozlov 2003-04 white set 3 / Playoffs - Nice wear on this and photomatched to a couple of photos against the Flyers in the first round of the playoffs that year. Anton Volchenkov 2012-13 white set 1 - Like most Volchenkovs this has good wear and is photomatched to several games. David Clarkson 2008-09 white set 1 - This is one of two white set 1's for Clarkson from this season per the Meigray population report. Matched it to several games in March of 2009. Mongoose Posted April 21, 2022 Report Share Posted April 21, 2022 for 4 years i have not been able to get the real jerseys MIC ...... the baron does not have them.🙁 very upset, i really wanted the jerseys with the cup patches. but now with ads coming in, i have no other choice than to stop giving a flying . these ads will ruin the jerseys, it left me wondering, will you guys pursue those ads patches? i also love baseball, have you seen the size of those F(&^*** ad patches? and they go on the jersey sleeve! where the hell will world series and other patches go now? Van67 Posted April 21, 2022 Report Share Posted April 21, 2022 The only issue I have with the ad patches as a collector, is that they are probably going to be a pain in the arse to get, but yes I will pursue them. The AHL has had ads for years now and if you try hard enough, success can be there. Who knows how it will be with NHL teams. I don't have an issue with the ads like so many fans seem to. If any fans going on about how they will never buy another NHL or MLB jersey because of the ads has a club soccer jersey somewhere in their closet, they're a hypocrite. I don’t like them, but I try to be accurate with my collection so I’ll put patches on my jerseys. If the NHL takes a page out of the NBA’s playbook, sponsor patches will be sold on jerseys (at least at the team store). Even AHL teams typically include sponsorship patches if you buy and customize a jersey through their team store. My big thing with jersey ads is that I hope they’re not like helmet ads that have been changing every season. THAT would be annoying. Regarding not being able to find on-ice authentic jerseys, for what team? Sure, they’re not as easy as simply going to JB, but almost every team’s jerseys (including alts and RR) have been available at one point or another though numerous sources since adidas took over. That ruin the game completely, a team can be under the cosh, icing after icing, D men on for 2m30s the attackers close to scoring.
