It feels like we're on the road to eventually having everything fully sublimated with continuing rising prices. When a company like Fanatics is allowed to monopolize the industry, that s*** is sadly predictable. Although the Kirby Mariners leak from yesterday was a replica, we know what's coming with the authentics and I won't be buying one. I still maintain that I like the ASG jersey I got last year, but as a one-off, it's fine. Seeing all teams with smaller letters and the same templated curve for names is just blasphemous. A couple thoughts that this sparked for me was that if the players don't like them and they find performance issues, they won't stay quiet. Hopefully it turns into what happened when NHL players made Reebok go back to airknit material for Edge jerseys. Also, looking at the Cardinals jersey, I wonder if they told Nike/Fanatics to f*** off with the perforated numbers. All the information I read from the usual sources we pay attention to said that all teams were being forced into that. Hell, I stopped collecting them once they switched to Majestic because I didn’t think *those* felt substantial enough compared to the thick ultrafil-like Rawlings/Wilson jerseys. Now…. No thanks Right....... it will be interesting to see what Fanatics will offer the NHL fans. Adidas were a******* for not selling the on ice jersey. Wonder what fanatics will do..... I can see Fanatics selling the NHL on-ice jersey they end up making in 2-3 years, but I'm not sure it will be at a price I'm willing to pay and my current stance is that I'm not willing to have the Fanatics logo on my jersey rack, so there's that too. Also from the days where Nike made top quality uniforms for teams outside the top pools. This one is from the 1996 World Juniors in Pool B. Only recent arrival has been an A's jersey even though I'm a Mariners fan. As a former Expos fan, what's going on in Oakland makes me sick to my f'n stomach, so I found a decently priced GI on krukcards and this is my corny fan way of tipping my hat to A's fans.
