Most people might not care about this, but I would feel a little strange customizing that jersey because ProPlayer never made that model jersey (on-ice), or any other for that matter, for the Caps. I own one (still blank) and kinda wonder the same thing... Do I pick a player from 99-00 since that's when te jersey was made, or do I make an Ovie rookie out of it since the caps never wore proplayer on ice anyways? At some point, there were really only three companies producing replicas for basically the entire league. CCM, Starter and Pro Player. There were exceptions like Nike but they actually did stay within their own realm and only did teams like Detroit, Chicago, Philly and whoever else wore their logo. And it bugs the heck out of me. As soon as I get a couple jerseys together to get done I'm going to send it back along with a junk kids Pro Player I found to get cut up for a proper nameplate.
