DEALS AND STEALS

I never saw Hull play - I read a book about him and the stuff that guy did was crazy, beating his kids, chasing his wife with a shotgun and beating her with her shoes, I won't buy anything associated with him.

A guy I play hockey with goes to Hull's house and plays cards, smokes cigars and drink wine.

I have been invited a few times but I can't bring myself to go.

Oh, also I'm not a fan of names on jersey's that don't match the era.

Still a nice jersey for the price (if it gets stripped)

I never heard about that stuff -- maybe I was sheltered. All I know is how happy he is to see fans, and how nice he is to them.

And he was very exciting to watch when he played.

I gotta tell you Matt...I'm really glad you got that reference because I have my doubts with a lot of the others. I know what you mean though. I don't know what to think of that.

This wont go for much if anyone is looking for a nice size 48 Preds jersey - http://www.ebay.com/itm/150692702412?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Anyone know what years they wore that CCM? Last year with those patches was 03/04, but not sure if it was CCM since 98.

That Starter NY Rangers is 97-98?

Nice NStars, but wow, 42...that's really tiny.

For the Preds the first year was Bauer, then from then on it was CCM. I think this jersey ran 99-00 to 01-02. After that CCM was moved to the neck I believe.

For reference, I prefer 48 in Starter, 52 in CCM, and 54 in Edge, 56 in Edge 2.0. My Starter jerseys are probably a bit more snug than my Edge jerseys though. I just find that a 52 in Starter is WAY too big.

Yup...but even if you just bought it for the 2 patches, the fight strap, and a bunch of white and black ultrafil namplates, that jersey is probably still worth a few bucks.

Or would that be a jersey foul to some of you guys?

That sz 42 North Star was listed awhile back, and I thought it was sold. Not sure why it's being re-listed. I can probably fit in it, like a Nike Dry Fit.

Who's number 12 as captain? In that jersey, the captain was either Bryan McCabe #4 or Trevor Linden #32.

I believe the immortal Mick Vukota wore that number for that style jersey. Given that the back isn't even pictured, I'm thinking it's a fan's name on the back.

Longshot: it's former-captain Brent Sutter, who wore #21 for the Isles but while the Islanders wore that jersey was playing in Chicago wearing #12.

The seller is on Jersey Central. We were talking about doing a trade for it. You are correct. The name on the back of the jersey is Garcia (as well as the 33). The back 2 on the blue jeresy is slightly off. You are also correct on the Vukota part, though he only played 17 games for the Isles in 97/98
