LAK74
I don't know why anyone would do this, but to me those logos looked as if someone simply tried to clean them using bleach, and the colors bled out.
Cygnus X-1
Is the discolored shield usually a deal breaker/something people avoid?

I've seen it on quite a few Rangers jerseys, and Rangers only. Not sure what the deal is. Is the discolored shield usually a deal breaker/something people avoid? I don't think so...I don't know that anyone's brought it up before. I was just checking for pics 'cause I used to own a Messier where it was real bad, and every so often I see them pop up on ebay so I've started to take notice. formyhunny
Not sure if this is fake, but looking at the seller's profile, he is selling fakes, so I'll assume it is a fake. Just would need confirmation though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-Vancouver-Canucks-Pavel-Bure-94-cup-Center-ice-collection-jersey-sz-52-/281028073135?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item416e9416af

carpet83
Well, looking for a project jersey and I need one of these, does this look authentic? El Salvador tag leans me no, but I need confirmation http://www.ebay.ca/itm/AUTHENIC-PHOENIX-COYOTES-STARTER-STITCHED-NHL-HOCKEY-JERSEY-FIGHT-STRAP-MENS-46-/310481477409?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item484a235f21
LAK74
It's a legit 1996-97 model. The retail jerseys were indeed made in El Salvador.
JackFr
This seller is advertising this as a gameworn 2002 Olympic jersey from when Canada faced Sweden. Is it legit though? If it is that price is a steal... http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-sporting-goods-exercise-hockey-Curtis-Joseph-Autographed-Olympic-Jersey-W0QQAdIdZ435452911

If it is that price is a steal... http://halifax.kijij...QAdIdZ435452911 if you click on the picture of the front of the jersey you can faintly see an X in the size tag.. knowing that, its DEFINETLY NOT OLYMPIC GAME WORN. as it would be a number size.also theres no IIHF patch, in the 02 olympics, the teams had IIHF patches. guys a stupid @$$ liar. also, canada wore red vs sweden... Brilliant!
Don't worry; it's not. You can clearly see the X on the size tag in the collar. Nope! EDIT: Zounds! Beaten by that much!
Mr.Ta-Da
http://www.officialnhlonline.com/detroit-red-wings-90-mike-modano-white-authentic-jersey-p-13313.html $149.99 for a "authentic jersey" seems like a hell of a deal........... Any thoughts?
DC Red Wings
Everything on that site is fake. Without knowing much about jerseys a good place to start is on a websites contact page. If they don't have a phone number or a legitimate address they are usually trying to sell some junk. This doesn't look like someone who has nothing to hide... http://www.officialnhlonline.com/contact_us.html
00xtremeninja
officialnhl.com and they also advertise selling nfl, mlb, and nba stuff. lol

thebiggoalie
Don't know what to make of this. It's made of durene by Rawlings with a Cosby tag, double elbows, and a different font for the Rangers logo. Was it an authentic? Replica? Any info would be greatly appreciated. These are just the photos of it on Ebay. I will post more when I finally receive it. (also trying to learn to post pics after all these years. lol)
ScotiaCygnus
It must be a replica. The RANGERS wordmark on the Rangers' white jerseys (since they started in 1951) have been the angled, drop-shadow style they still use today. '51 style. thebiggoalie
Yeah. I was looking at that same picture. I just don't understand how any replica, especially back then, would have the double elbows. I guess it would be a sin to replace the letters. When the Rangers designed the TBTC jersey, the font looked like this one. I looked everywhere to see if they maybe took that idea from another jersey, but always saw the same font used today. Also don't know if Rawlings ever made their jerseys, wether authentic or replica.
