  1. I just saw this, while the closure date was a little while ago, it is sad to see. I was one of the original members when this forum was created and while I'm not around as much, I did still check in and perform referee duties when I'd get a notification. Thank you CryWolf for everything you've done over the years, I wish you and your employees nothing but success.
  2. There is actually a store in the mall in the area where I live that sells Movie and TV Jerseys. They have a pretty decent selection. https://shopallstarsports.com/
  3. Thanks for the info everyone.

  5. Nah, as a Kovalchuk fan, it is an easy choice for me as well. Edit: Didn't pay attention and realized I was replying to a post from September, oops. And I see Mfitz is a Devils fan, completely understand the dislike of Kovalchuk in that case.
  6. So best bet is look on eBay for made in Canada authentic Adidas jerseys, fortunately right now the only ones I'd be looking for is the Kings, Canadiens, and Sabres, though in a couple years I'll be looking to get Seattle. Guess this will take time, but to get the best items, the wait is worth it.
  7. Looked at a few other sites and noticed that many said don't order customized from NHL.com as the numbers and letters aren't actually fully sewn on, so best bet is to buy a blank or buy from a retailer like icejerseys or other similar sites to get proper stitching.
  8. Thanks for the info everyone, kind of disappointing that the "authentics" sold online and in stores aren't the same as the on-ice product. Guess I will have to decide if those are "good enough" for me or not.

    Newer Jerseys

Hi everyone, been out of the jersey game for a little while now but am looking at picking up a few new ones, I have occasionally logged in and handled moderator stuff when I get the email notices, but haven't posted in threads. Due to having purchased any new jerseys in a bunch of years, not sure on the newer products. I see Adidas now makes the jerseys, how are their Authentics? I see the replicas are now Fanatics branded, or are there other replicas that other retailers get now? Other than that, looking forward to rejoining in the conversations.
  10. I created that thread back when this forum was first started, I guess after yesterdays news of Seattle being awarded a team, I get to see how my loyalties are impacted. I know I will cheer for Seattle, but we shall see if they supplant Buffalo as my #1.
  11. My personal preference, get rid of the points in general. You win, you win, you lose, you lose. Only thing about this is I would say that OT and shootout has to change if you are going to go straight wins/losses.
  12. Didn't see anything on this recently. So Seattle sent in an application a couple weeks ago to be the leagues 32nd team. The city finally reached a deal to completely renovate Key Arena (again). The league has already said that the next expansion team Expansion Draft would be the same rules as what Vegas had. Starting 1 Mar, Seattle will be doing their Season Ticket drive. Goal for Seattle is to begin play in the 20/21 season as the Arena would be ready in 2020. All my life, I have cheered for Seattle sports (except for baseball, but my fandom of the A's is still tied to the State o
  13. Wranglers has been used by 3 different teams in Vegas, though 2 of them were baseball teams in the 50's. Could work to use that one, though obviously won't have as many specialty jerseys as the ECHL team did. I am curious on how long the league will remain at an odd number of teams and who will be next to get back to an even number to balance the divisions. Still holding out for Seattle, but until they have an arena plan, I know that isn't likely to happen.
  14. For the Islanders, I would go Peca or Yashin myself. For the Oilers, Doug Weight.
  15. There are many people who only own 1 jersey. If it is a hockey jersey and they go to a hockey game, I personally have no issue with it as they are still wearing the proper sport at least. Now when you wear a hockey jersey to a baseball game or something like that, then that would be a no-go for me.
