Bobcat1988
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Washington-Capitals-Orest-Kindrachuk-NHLGame-Worn-Hockey-Jersey-1981-82-SandowSK-/310423223582?pt=Vintage_Sports_Memorabilia&hash=item4846aa7d1e What's the deal with this jersey? Did the Caps ever wear Sandow? If it's legit, I'd buy it... but I didn't think they ever wore Sandow. If they didn't, what is it?
Brilliant!
Washington wore Sandow SK jerseys for a pre-season tournament that was played in Sweden that year...I thought those jerseys were mesh rather than durene though. I'm not sure what to make of that one. There's gotta be something to it because it's still at $300 with a few hours left. I will say this however; that nameplate is most definitely restored and NOT the original.
brandon
I think a lot of teams wore Sandow for like 1/2 the 1981 season or something like. Someone else will provide more knowledge.

Knowing the nameplate is not original makes me slightly dubious of the entire thing without more info so I think I will avoid. Thanks! oiler99
I found this one listed on German Ebay. http://www.ebay.de/itm/eishockey-jersey-trikot-nhl-del-gamer-new-york-rangers-60er-70er-/261087941765?pt=Sport_Alle_Sportbekleidung&hash=item3cca0dd485 Can anyone confirm, if the jersey actually is an Anders Hedberg game worn? Because with that price, I was thinking of making a move.
ScotiaCygnus
I found this one listed on German Ebay. http://www.ebay.de/i...=item3cca0dd485 Can anyone confirm, if the jersey actually is an Anders Hedberg game worn? Because with that price, I was thinking of making a move. I doubt it (but I've been known to be wrong). There's no sign of a fight strap plus Hedberg joined the Rangers in the '78-'79 season when they changed to the diagonal wordmark jerseys: Although there are some game worns from that season that still use the shield design, so I'm not 100%. Brilliant!
No. The Rangers went back to the old standard for the 1978-79 season. Prior than, Hedberg was still on the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA. Also, the Rangers only used this style in durene for the 1975-76 and 1976-77 seasons. In 1977-78, they switched the the Stall & Dean heavy mesh. The font used is 100% wrong too.
pastadutchie
Saw this one on a classified. Chelios authentic Hawks jersey. Looks legit but not 100% sure. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-sporting-goods-exercise-hockey-CHRIS-CHELIOS-autographed-BLACK-HAWKS-jersey-W0QQAdIdZ409005968
Hockey Bob
Looks good to me, Hawks wore Nike from 96-97 to 98-99 and Chelios was on the team then. If you want one a little older and a little smaller here's another one. Pretty sure the Nike jersey's run bigger. http://www.ebay.com/itm/320973946871?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_500wt_1203

Mediumhero
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/330785361125?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648 I know this is real but as an authentic n00b should the number be sewn through the fightstrap like this?
LAK74
It happens occasionally, especially in smaller jerseys where the numbers are more likely to extend below the level of the fight strap attachment. Some of mine are like that.
DropkickMurphy8
Nothing wrong with the number being stitched through the fight strap. Not sure if that jersey is supposed to have the name stitched directly to a jersey or if it's supposed to have a nameplate, though.
Brilliant!
Eh...it happens. It's definitely nothing that should make you question a purchase. Take a look at this: and this!

Brilliant!
Just so you know, those two shots I posted are game-worn jerseys so it definitely happens. That bottom one is a size 50 jersey(!!!) so you can see why the numbers went so far down on the back.
Reivax
There's not supposed to be a fight strap on those jerseys, so it's done right.
ic0dex
A member just posted a predators jersey in new arrivals that he customized and the jersey was a size 44, same thing happened to him.
