Yeah, I'm kinda new with collecting Wild-jerseys and couldn't find a good picture (not a stock picture) of an actual Wild Alt Edge jersey to compare

The Wild ones can be tough from pictures on the web, because most store based photos have flat collar pics. Also, the colors in photos are usually really close to the green that it should be, but then when heled next to the real thing you can see it is a few shades lighter.

See collar and string here when Boogey wore it for the leaked pic. Ruffled collar and the strings are round. Many fakes also have flat strings instead of round.

Same principal can be applied to the fake reds out there too, and the red coloring is usually horribly off.

A dead on fake. Notice how the crest and numbering/lettering is shiny and a little wrinkled. That is usually a pretty big giveaway that the jersey is fake.

This looks like one of the less careful fake jobs. It appears as if they tried to fake a replica (due to size XL, no fight strap visible). If this was intentional, they didn't bother to put on a vector logo on the sleeve or any kind of jock tag on the front. They should have tried harder to fake an authentic. :)

If I did wake up more than 2 and a half hours earlier, that would have been me.

Does this nameplate look like twill to you?

Yup, that's twill. Very easy to fix though if you can get that for a good price.

Thoughts?

Think its worth the gamble for the price?

The letters on nameplate are off. If they are stitched on it might be possible to fix it.

I've been looking for a Roenick ultrafil for a while so I snapped this up when I had the chance. Only now looking at it I am having second thoughts. It's obviously authentic (crest, tomahawks, tags) but the 7 on the back is off, right?

Yeah, all the 7's should extend further out. The back one a bit further than the top serif and the arm ones right to the arm serif. That should be an easy fix though since it's air-knit.

That would be an easy fix if it were Utrafil....but I see Air-knit.

Not really a jersey but....

Can anyone tell me if this hat is legit please.

Also, not sure about these but the front one looks legit to me.

Yes, it's a hat?? Not quite sure what you're asking there...are the Chinese making knockoff hats that look like that?

As far as the jerseys, the front one may be a proto-type or something, but it isn't what the Canucks wore; if it were legit it would have the V on the shoulders, like the youth one in the top right of the pic does.

Yeah, you're good on the Canucks Snapback. Those have been getting faked like crazy. This kid I know showed me his mitchell and ness hat and the logo on the back looked like chicken scratch. The guys selling fake jerseys are the same guys that are now selling fake snapbacks.

Heres one of the billion sites where knockoffs are sold

And I think this is the same hat as the eBay one, but fake

How about this?

Toews Souix Jersey

I know that seller has legit authentics, so I would think the jersey is legit. The only faults with that seller is the customization may be off. Other than that you're good to go.

Yes, customization is a bit off on that Toews Sioux jersey. Also, the authentic jersey is Nike Swift, that's an air knit replica. I have a game-worn of the same jersey, same year as what that Toews should represent.

Flaws:

-Front logoing is too small

-Numbers on sleeves are too thin

-Name font is good, but spacing of letters is wrong. Should be very loosely spaced

-Could use a 2007 Frozen Four patch, but not required I guess. They ARE pretty much impossible to find, though.

Keep in mind, I'm very picky about Sioux jerseys. Your best bet is finding a blank replica and having it customized yourself. $200-225 is too much for what you are getting, IMO.

Like the Roenick one posted above... this is wrong right? The 7 isn't right? Or is this jersey a steal?
