Haven't posted in a while; haven't had anything to post in a while! Came across this gem and just had to pick it up. This is the team I played for throughout my youth and high school so it obviously holds a bit of sentimental value to me. Now the question is, is it a foul to strip a gamer and recustomize it with your name/number if you wore the same jersey?! LOL!

If I had known it was this type of Party I will have to post my Winnetka Warriers jerseys and have my brother do the same, along with his New Trier Green jerseys (as he was the one in the family with game). Those members from Chicago who follow youth hockey know what I am talking about.

Couldn't stand New Trier growing up.

No clue, but I visited Winnetka in July to see the Home Alone house.

The only thing that isnt a direct match to the gamer is the fight strap, but he cut his off. Im pretty sure now that I went this far, I am going to have the strap moved and cut it off just like the original. Might as well, right?

Don't do it!! The jersey's original, and how often do you see a double fight strap like that? Heck, even a game issued wouldn't have the FS removed since old Bossy-Scissor-Hands hadn't dawned it, yet.

Besides, if you ever decide to sell it to someone other than myself, you'll see a greater return as is.

Slim,

Awesome!

Where do you find all these Older CCM's?

Do you have your collection posed somewhere?

It's gotta be quite extensive.

Couple goalies to start...

'85-86 goalie cut Hayward, complete with flight satin nameplate/numbers, and that fine/silky smooth name embroidery...oooo, it's like butter!!!

And last but certainly not least, a 1990 playoffs only Steen -

It took me a while to get the later correct, 'cause those NHL logo stamped Jets were only used in the '90 playoffs vs the Oilers, and I couldn't find a gamer for comparison. This is one of Steen's gamers from that regular season (with a beautiful font that I would have preferred) -

but after studying the tape for a while, I noticed that, although they kept the same style arm numbers, they changed the rear font to match what would become the font for the '90-96 Jets, name and numbers -

Gopher Practice Worn, holes, popped stitching, red paint, beat up, love it. Guy sold it to me for $20. Funny thing was he was working for the University at the time and a player left it on the bench, so he snagged it up.
