Brilliant!
Good move by Rob to take the MeiGray tag out. If you're going to do it, that's how you do it. There's no sense in adding further uncertainty to our hobby.

ScotiaCygnus
The 2000-01 World All-Star is one of my favorites also. It has that crazy collar that reminds me of a soccer jersey. What is this 'soccer'? I'm sure you mean football... and I don't mean that American charade for testosterone-pumped manlove.
slimcutta
P.S. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOVE I know, right? I just took the opportunity to rip on soccer for no reason ...uh, other than the obvious homo-eroticism... Good move by Rob to take the MeiGray tag out. If you're going to do it, that's how you do it. There's no sense in adding further uncertainty to our hobby. True dat. ...and cuddos, nice jersey! Robert Ullman
A few new items, some of them going back quite a ways... Habs 1912-13 Barberpole Replica I'd been wanting one of these forever, but I wasn't sure I wanted to drop $200+ on an EDGE 1.0, which was all I'd been seeing since early 2011. Luckily, Full Moon Jerseys on eBay showed up with a bunch of replicas for around $40 so I snapped one up. Its kinda cool...it's not made of that snaggy pique crap that the other Edge replicas are made of, but rather a super-thin airknit material. I suspect it's because of all the stripes. Anyway, I removed the printed twill shoulder patch and will replace it soon with the pictured embroidered version. Probably lose that lameazz jocktag too. Habs 1910-11 Replica Kinda grabbed this on a whim. It'll look nice in the family Xmas photo. And some Chandails Authentiques... Flames HC and Hurricanes 6100, from the SVP sale (thanks again, Cowboys!) Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins...Might make this a Simon Despres... Robert Ullman
Aaaaaand, more Penguins: 2008-11 Alternate (thanks, Dan!). This'll be a Craig Adams. 2005-07 Reebok 6100. Man, I love these things. I'm thinking I'll just keep it blank. Gold practice jersey. I plan to play in this one. Really too ugly to be believed! redbeard3569
Another Stefan Legein. This one a 09-10 Adirondack Phantoms 3rd style jersey. Multiple stick marks, paint transfer, a dark red stain in some stitches that could be blood, and one unrepaired hole in a sleeve. By the way... Anybody know what the heck that sponsor patch is? Wavey blue lines on a white circle doesn't tell you much.
The Next One
Even though there might not be NHL hockey for awhile, you guys are tearing it up with the crazy pickups.

redbeard3569
Nice Phantoms jersey! Thanks. Was gonna pick up the Flyers training camp Legein from Meigray but somebody here beat me too it. Can't remember who. So this turned up and I grabbed it. redbeard3569
Sorry about that! That was me I actually just sold it to a board member also. That's right it was you that posted it. I remember now. No biggie. I figured nobody would.want it so I dragged my feet and missed out. Was there any wear at all on it? The Phantoms has very good wear so I'm very happy with it. Not sure if a training camp jersey would show much. It looked pretty clean in the Meigray pics.
Kaiser416
Inspired by Brandon's haul of preds inaugural jerseys, I wanted to do up a Vokoun as well. This is by far the most labour intensive project that I've tackled, stitching a fully loose kit with reverse kiss cut numbers. The numerous curved edges and placing large slanted numbers on a size 44 is no easy task. Stitching over the fight trap without completely mangling it was the final challenge. Overall, very happy to show off this one. here is his gamer:
OR68
Speaking of strip jobs, I think these 2 came out pretty clean. I will go one more round with the cleaning since there is still some faint outline with the names but the sleeve outlines are gone. The guides on here for stripping and cleaning strip jobs is gold. TMLFAN
Picked this up off Kaiser416 yesterday. He saved me the trouble of stripping a GI and re-doing it into this so bonus for me. Once I can get my hands on a wordmark patch I can add the Sundin patch and front "A" but it'll do as is for now. *EDIT* Had a quick go of lifting off the vector and it laughed at me. The one on my Phaneuf 1.0 practically fell off but this one feels like it was put down with super glue. So much for that plan.

brandon
Alright everyone, here are two awesome arrivals outside of my normal Nashville and Warshington range. First, the 1931 Leafs jersey from 1996-97. I got this blank and it still had the born on date tag inside, its just flawless. A low number too, 90/1931. Went with Dougie G on this, a great addition to my miniscule Leafs collection. And fiiiiiiiiiinally, after nearly a year- 1980-81 Sandow Islanders Mike Bossy jersey. You may have seen the start of this in my Transformation of a Crest thread, if not, take a look. This has been quite the journey. And for some reason, it doesnt show up well in the picture but as per the original game worn jersey notes "the name plate is made from a slightly darker material" and I had that done too. The only thing that isnt a direct match to the gamer is the fight strap, but he cut his off. Im pretty sure now that I went this far, I am going to have the strap moved and cut it off just like the original. Might as well, right? Here is the gamer- DO IT! redbeard3569
The Manchester Monarchs announced the hiring of Freddy Meyer as new assistant coach a few days back. So... From his rookie year 2005-06 Set 3/Playoffs. Light wear. Some filth on the sleeves, a small slice on one arm and a slightly bigger slice on the front hem, and a couple stick marks.
