Thanks gentlemen.

FYI - a lot of folks ask me where I keep finding this stuff, but all 3 of those jerseys came from board members here, so a big thanks goes out to you guys!

This one, however, did not.

The Oates is just for the reverse crest comparison -

1983-84 (single year only) mesh CCM Ogrodnick -

Possible gamer?

The wings often had their numbers spaced wide back then, and even though the letters are cut properly, they were clearly just slapped on this jersey. The 2nd O in Ogrodnick looks like it should have been the first one, and vice versa, considering the slants at the bottom of both.

1980s jerseys were notoriously messy, so if my assumptions are correct, I suspect the numbers were applied first, and whoever did the work just slapped the letters in the space available as quickly as possible. Here're some pics of the repairs on the sleeves (with material added/sewn on the inside of some) -

The born-on tag has 84 07 on it, so if this was used, it would have been '84-85 pre-season.

First person to photo-match this thing accurately gets a free authentic jersey :D

It took me a while to get the later correct, 'cause those NHL logo stamped Jets were only used in the '90 playoffs vs the Oilers, and I couldn't find a gamer for comparison. This is one of Steen's gamers from that regular season (with a beautiful font that I would have preferred) -

but after studying the tape for a while, I noticed that, although they kept the same style arm numbers, they changed the rear font to match what would become the font for the '90-96 Jets, name and numbers -

Not the greatest pics, but there are a few shots during the vid where you can clearly see 'em for all their glory :D

It's funny how you just posted pictures of Dave Ellett and someone just posted his gamer on eBay.

Sorry guys I'm on my iPhone here is a short link:

That guy's an '88-89 - 2nd version of the GFK patch on the right shoulder. Nice freakin jersey, and potentially at a great price.

Couple goalies to start...

'91-92 Brodeur rc -

'85-86 goalie cut Hayward, complete with flight satin nameplate/numbers, and that fine/silky smooth name embroidery...oooo, it's like butter!!!

And last but certainly not least, a 1990 playoffs only Steen -

Been after this for a while. Even though it was at the Devils expense. One of my favourite moments in hockey, when he finally lifted the Cup.

Call me a sissy-boy, but I still cry everytime I see Joe Sakic turn and hand the cup over without hesitation. That is truly what teamwork, respect, and sports, at any level, are supposed to be about!!

Two awesome arrivals today. A game worn Hershey Bears jersey from Mathieu Perreault. I thought it was humorous it was a size 58 haha. I think I am going to try to take the signature off the back, what an ugly spot for it. Set 1 08-09 (won the Calder Cup that year) and there is a 50% chance he scored his first AHL point in this.

And finally, a 1996 WCOH Finland jersey. Been trying to track one of these down forever.

A big thanks to xahlgoalie for this beauty. I honestly can say I think this is by far one of the nicest jerseys in the NHL right now.

Jordin Tootoo 2011/12 (Edge 2.0 Size 54)

One thing I noticed was the NHL shield is different from any other Reebok authentic or gamer that I own. It's glued, not sewn, and it seems to be made of a sort of felt? Looks and feels cheaper.
