It arrived today v. 4.0

Brilliant!

When St. Louis, or any team, had Starter, ALL their jerseys for that season, home, road, third and practice, were made by Starter.

I think he's mistaking the Starter wordmark logo on the away 1997 jersey for the CCM logo.

Ok, I'll go....I've been slackin on here lately anyways.

Finding an authentic Calgary Flames from the late 80s/early 90s is pretty hard to do, and even if you are lucky enough to find one, chances are you'll be paying a hefty price for it.

With that in mind, as soon as I saw this authentic Air-knit Atlanta Flames jersey for $160, I jumped all over it -

I stripped the Atlanta crest -

And then had it done up (with a '90 ann patch I've been holding on to forever) to create this bad boy -

Wow! how did you get the CCM patch on the hem?

EDIT: Ya. NM. I just read Mike's question right after I posted this! :) LOL's

The uglier the jersey, the SEXIER it is to me! Been looking for an authentic Yotes third for quite a while.

That is without a doubt a beauty. I really want to own one, one day. Great pickup

Thx man, I appreciate that....now on to either a Wild Wing OR that ugly Tampa Bay third with the lightning bolts! I have the Fisherman already!

Is it weird to want to own most of the "Ugliest NHL Jerseys Of All Time"??

No problem! I am in the same boat, except I need the Yotes too :(

Not at all. I think most collectors have the same wants.

Winter Classics should be "Ugly" Jerseys only

If you're going to be a stickler for the logo, it should be mentioned (unless someone already did and I missed it?) that he wore double logo'd jerseys, on the right and left side of the rear hem -

EDIT - Ya, like what was said above :P

As well, if you get a Blues done up, the middle layer should be therma-lite (heat-pressed vinyl..or gorilla grip, or whatever you want to call it) -

And welcome to the boards!

Thanks for pointing this out to me;

But whoever customized this jersey missed it. I got to tell you if it wasn't for you guys I would have never known about this stuff. Hey got to start somewhere right?

Keep in mind.....even though on the Bluenote on the front, the yellow layer is vinyl, on the numbering, the red middle layer should be vinyl if you get another jersey and have it done up (or fix that one)

I'm probably going to fix this one up.

It's a very common mistake. I'd bet most Blues jerseys out there are customized wrong. Glad we could help

I've had Blues jerseys done by both EPS and Triple Threat, and I like they way Triple Threat does them better. Just my 2 cents.

Another one crossed off the list.

I have the same one. I got the 1998 Cup Finals patch online and had that added.

Got a really good deal on this one and could not pass it up. It's a 2007-2008 Clay Wilson Set 1 Crunch game worn. It has some good wear to it.

Got this one in today... Unfortunately, it doesn't fit all that well, so I'll probably be selling it (or hopefully trade it for the same jersey in an XL)...

Here it is, 1990's NHL All Star Jersey:

NHL teams can take a lesson in jersey design from the minor league teams.....
