awesome deals lists authentics in size 48...I am increasingly doubtful

^This is the first indicator. And 99% of sites that only show cgi images instead of actual jerseys usually are a no-no.

And if I wear a 48 CCM and Starter, is it true the 6100 is cut a bit bigger?

Yes. I usually wear either 48 or 52 in the older stuff and a 46 RBK 6100 would fit me fine.

Thanks! Does the jersey customization look legit (Avery jokes aside)?

Almost every Rangers jersey that guy had listed looked like it was customized in house at the Garden. That being said, they look okay, but they aren't done by Arena Wear. Also, because they are all smaller sizes, they don't look perfect to begin with.

Thanks. Think I'll take a shot at it.

That guy is legit and seems like he's selling off a collection for the past month or so. He has

listed many rangers authentics of all eras since the early 90 ccm's.

If I get a Hawks jersey. I'd like it to be a Nike...these things are so rare though...so I want to make sure it's not a fake one

Not sure what it is but I've seen a few go nuts for mesh jerseys.

to me it looks like a home made jersey.

Yeah, plus the Blues sweaters from the era it looks like it's supposed to be from never had stripes exactly like that. Plus no manufacturer, etc. Looks cool, though.

Fake Wild Wing. Never seen one before, but its pretty obvious. The logo is even stitched, which we all know it was screened into the material.

And the sad part is someone will fall for it.

The real question is, why arent they faked more? They sell for a pretty high price

So in regards to the fake Wild Wing from above, I sent the seller this message:

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you bought this from someone else, but I'm sorry to tell you this jersey is fake.

CCM has never made this jersey as part of their Vintage line, and the logo was always screened into the jersey material (the stitch marks are clear on this logo).

Again, sorry to tell you, but this jersey is fake, and you should remove it and open a case against whoever you bought it from, before someone ends up doing the same to you.

And got this response:

Hello, yes I actually obtained this item through a customer of mine. I own a store here in New Jersey. He works for a jersey company called MeiGray, they specialize in Game-Used Jerseys. He sold this to me along with a few Signed Game-Used Jerseys that I sent in to PSA/DNA. I never actually thought to question it because he has sold me so many items. I know for a fact that what your saying about the logo being screened into the jersey is 110% accurate because I am a big Paul Kariya fan. Although he had me under the intentions that this was a Replica of that jersey from 1995-1996. He told me that the jersey was produced under contract with CCM and Vintage Hockey under the NHL licensing agreement that they got from Disney who is the original Owner of the jersey. This jersey was said to have been Replicated with stitching and not screening in 2008 between those two companies. This is everything he told me, I do have his number handy I am going to give him a call. I never really thought anything of it because he has sold me so many authenticated autographs, jerseys and sticks that have been in and out of PSA. From one person to another I really appreciate this message you have sent me. I am going to for sure give him a call first thing tomorrow morning. I hope for my sake and me being out money your wrong but if it comes down to that hopefully he is an honorable person. Thank you.

Best Wishes,

-Jeremy

Pretty messed up if he seriously got that from someone who works for Meigray. Edited by dsl135

Man that is messed up if its true. Or he could have ordered it from Jeremylincheapnikejerseysshoeswholesale for 25 dollhairs and now he's trying to cash in.

I really think he's full of it since the listing is still up. He probably bought it from cheapjerseyschinawarehouse50dollar.com and trying to pass it off like its someone else is the reason for selling a fake. He says he thought it was a replica. Replicas do not have nhl shields on the back hem and fight straps.
