I don't think the fakers ever faked swingman jersey but still avoid that jersey since it ships from Hong Kong.

That Raptors jersey as well as the other items the seller is selling are all fake. Authentic NBA jerseys should come in numbered sizes like hockey jerseys. Swingman jerseys are the equivalent to NHL Reebok Premier jerseys. Any logos will be screened onto twill which is heatpressed onto the jersey. You can see in the auction there is stitching and swingmans shouldn't have this.

The new addidas ones thats holds true but the old nike ones and i think the reebok ones thats not so. I was looking at my Nash Mavericks swingman and theres a layer of twill screened but the outside layer lettering is stitched onto the jersey (and it is not a fake since i got it in champs sports many many years ago when they used to sell the nike ones). As far as that raptors version, Nike never made an official swingman of that jersey (hense if that was a real swingman jersey it should have a nike check under the nba logo on the front since all nike swingmans had these). The swingman type in the NBA came out in 2001 i think (when Jordan came back to play with the Wizards). 2 years ago i got one of those as a gift. I originally thought it was real since it looked mint and not like the typical knockoff (wrong fonts, colors etc) but i knew it wasnt real when i was told it was a "Swingman jersey". Its the only knockoff I own (I detest knockoffs in the worst way but that raptors jersey is my fav sports jersey of all time and I want a Vince Carter one so ive held onto it until I can find a real one) The real authentic of that raptors jersey is extremly rare now and on the real one the raptor and the design other then the letters is all screenprinted and not patches (hense also looking at it 1st sight I thought it was real but knew better).

Looks like a replica to me. You should be alright on that one. Looks like its been around the block, but for what it's at right now, that's a pretty good deal.

I think that has the wrong neck tag. It looks like one of the Vintage replica neck tags with the silver bars. I believe it is a fake.

Also, notice the picture of the fight strap. Next to the CCM logo to the right is a Penguins logo. A real authentic should have the NHL shield there instead. The team logos were used on replicas.

DING DING DING!!

That is by far the best tale-tale sign of fakeness on the jersey.

Easiest way to detect fake Vintage Series jerseys is by looking at the neck tags.

Fake vintage. Fakers use the replica-style Vintage tag (gray bars). They also use the Edge style (7187A CCM) size tag.

Real vintage (blue bars).

There are some fakes with the NHL shield on the back, like most of the black Bruins Orr's that are out there.

I assume this is legit as it is the store JerseyExpress on Main in Buffalo. But I just wanted a second opinion as this is a pretty good price and their website has them for $119. Also does anyone have one of these? The Buffalo part isn't vinyl on the prems right? Also nameplate, Airkint? Thanks guys

The Premieres have the Buffalo part as a kind of felt material like the authentics. The nameplate HSBC used for mine is airknit.
