If you're going to drop that kind of money on that, it better have insurance on it. And a $40K item won't cost $3.50 to insure. So it's shipping and insurance in that figure. For stuff like the all-star games and shirt off the back nights, they tend to be autographed. Also, now that teams are handling game worn stuff themselves, I imagine we will see more of them autographed as that appeals more to the common fan.
