The jersey is Legit.Like the Sabres jersey the Capitals never wore Starters and the customization is wrong on it as well.

The majority of starters weren't faked (goes for replicas and most authentics). The exceptions are Gretzky blue jerseys with a "set 2" tag and messier ones.

This guy has some Pro Player authentics...are these real and just about how rare are they?

They're real, all right. NWT, too. If they were my size I'd be drooling.

Both jerseys are legit but the Bourque is something of a foul, albeit a minor one. From the neck tags and fight strap the jersey was clearly made for the 1993 game, even though there are no ASG or other patches which obviously indicate the year. But Bourque didn't wear the A that year, he had the C. The only year he wore that style jersey in white with the A was for the 1990 game, but the fight strap would have been the thinner one with the round buttons.

The customization is pretty off on both jerseys, and the Gretzky needs a SC100 patch, not to mention a strip job.

What do you guys think about this one? I am a little worried about the coloring, the red seems a little too pinkish instead of burgundy, I could be wrong though. As always any help is greatly appreciated.

Other than the fact it's a foul, it's probably just the light of the pictures. It's a legit replica.

Yeah I am aware it is a foul, I was just trying to see if the seller is legit more than anything

That penguins and jagr rangers liberty jerseys were the only fakes I ever seen that were made like ccm replicas.

It's an awful fake and to add crybaby never wore the C on that style anyway.

What's the story with this? I'm pretty new to this and don't know much. "Pro Player"? I thought most of these third's were CCM? I noticed the lettering was stitched directly onto the jersey (no nameplate). What are your guys thoughts on this? I want to get something as authentic as possible so I'd not purchase this with the lack of nameplate but was curious.I know a lot of you have mixed feelings on the Pooh Bears to say the least but I'd love to have one at some point.

Pro player was the brand most teams wore in 99-00. They made replicas for all teams but not all wore them on the ice (some teams like dallas and Detroit wore CCM)

Actually CCM made the Bruins' on-ice thirds for only one season, 1995/96. After that they were made by Starter (1996-99), ProPlayer (one season only, 1999/2000), Koho (2000-04), and Reebok (2005/06).
