Oh. So you're the winner. I was at school and my wifi was lagging. I put in a higher bid, but the auction expired a second earlier. That's one of my favorite jerseys of all time. Congrats!

Is this jersey authentic? And also, does anyone know how much this should cost roughly?

I recently got ordered a jersey from coolhockey.com, Quebec Nordiques Forsberg and to me it looks awful (love the jersey though); I'm not expert, but the numbers look huge, they're practically touching the fleur-de-lis and the fleur-de-lis aren't even stitched. Here are some pics:

Anyone deal with them before? Think I will be able to get a refund and how it would work?

Thanks

Oh wow, that sucks! Thanks, feeling pretty lucky now... I hope you find an equally good/better deal on that jersey soon. :)

I have the same jersey as a blank. Not a big deal. After I ship it to EPS to do the customization, it'll be around the same price anyway. Enjoy!

The Clark jersey looks fake. I wouldn't pay a dime for it.

The Forsberg is a replica and neither the crest nor the fleurs-de-lis should be stitched on; that's the way the jersey comes from CCM. The letters on the nameplate are way too thick, and it looks like they may have used a twill nameplate. I've seen a few jobs from coolhockey (including one done for my brother), and I was not impressed at all with the workmanship- wrong fonts, layers stitched crookedly on top of each other, etc. I personally haven't purchased anything from them (don't plan to either), so I'm sorry I can't answer your question about the return policy. Good luck though.

Thanks a lot. Hopefully I can get a refund easily. Any idea where I could possibly get a nice replica? Or maybe even a good deal on an authentic?

I looked at my 1992 Petr Klima Oilers 75th patch.. That one looks good..

Usually that site sells patches that are reproductions. There may be exceptions to this however, and if that patch is made by National Emblem and comes sealed in a package, then it's probably the official licensed patch.

Just wanted to know if this site, and the patch itself, is legit. The picture shows it in the package. http://patchcollection.com/product.php?productid=17334&cat=0&page=2

I've dealt with Patch Collection, they also sell on eBay. They're definitely legit, however as was already said, they do sell reproduction patches. I believe they also sell official patches that are licensed. I got an American flag patch from them for a Yankees jersey, which was a repro. Nothing wrong with the quality though, just make sure you know what you're getting before you buy.

I know this one has been floating on eBay for a while and is missing the laces (which I assume are easy to replace). Is it good otherwise? Am going to try and make an offer via message and ultimately strip it if all works out.

It's legit, but from what I've seen on here, stripping 1.0's isn't a great idea, especially if it's white.

I second that it's legit,

As previously mentioned by Thebiggoalie, a white jersey of (any make) is rough to strip because it enhances every little flaw,

I recently stripped a white 1991-92 Sharks jersey and I think it's fair to say it's junk now.

But as far as stripping Edge 1.0's,

Last night I stripped a Red Blackhawks 1.0 and it came out clean.

It all depends on who attributed the jersey and how heat happy they got with the press.

My opinion = the risk vs the reward is to risky

Thanks for the thorough analysis. I guess I'll just try and be a bit more patient.

I would wait it out. $150 for an Edge 1.0 that you intend to strip likely isn't a deal you'd later regret passing up. Basically it sounds like you want a blank anyways, and even if it's a Rangers, I'd think you should be able to find one eventually. When you combine the extra work you'd have to do to strip/clean it and the risk, not worth it imho.

Would this help? Size 46

I'm actually after an away jersey and would rather stick to size 50 so that the customization looks a bit better.

No problem. Just trying to help a fellow blueshirt-enthusiast.
