00xtremeninja
i think this weekend i am going to make a guide to the differences in neck tagging to help folks out.

ScotiaCygnus
Anyone can comment on these? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Vintage-1995-Toronto-Maple-Leafs-Away-Royal-Blue-Throwback-CCM-550-Jersey-Small-/330613205873?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item4cfa152b71&_uhb=1#ht_1291wt_1071 It looks legit to me but I read in another thread that the CCM vintage collection was something to be weary about... You'll get one of the original replicas on eBay for waaay cheaper. Hell, you might even snag an original authentic for the same price. Whiskeypete
Is this jersey real or fake? Any input is appreciated, thanks puffy, jacked up numbers are always the first sign of a fake. not to mention the letters in the name not having uniformity in shape and size
MeccaDon123
any input on this would be great...i haven't bought any Nike jerseys yet...but if this is legit it'll be my 1st. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261182327397?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Hockey Bob
I would ask them if it has a fight strap, I bought one a while back and it didn't have one. When I asked here on the board I learned that they made a replica in authentic sizing Even if it does not have the fight strap they're still pretty well made jerseys
CJ Matthews
That jersey is a mid level jersey. You can tell by the lack of the mesh on the sides and elbows. Should look like this.
MeccaDon123
thank you both...midlevel..haven't heard that term..midlevel= something like "semi-pro/550" for CCM's and "primiere" for RBK edge jerseys?
CJ Matthews
Well, it's more like with the NBA, where they have replica, swingman, and authentics. Nike made letter sized jerseys, number sized jerseys without straps and some details, and full on authentics number sized with all the details. This would be the equivalent of a swingman. akteon
What's interesting is I've never seen a blank one of those. The replicas were blank with alpha sizing. The middle-tier jerseys with effectively replicas with numeric sizing, and pre-customized to suttar players, but lacking other features of an authentic. Like CJ said, the real on-ice authentics were numeric sized and had a fight strap, double elbows, and in this case mesh underarms and dazzle yoke/hem/wrists. Wonder where the blank middle-tier came from.

TallicLizzy
Any opinions guys? Seems too good to be true, but the fact that they come from Canada is really throwing me off! Lol. I can't seem to copy the link properly from my phone, so I just attatched pictures. The first jersey is described as "pro stitched" and has a buy it now price of 89.99 and a make an offer tab. The second is an "authentic sewn ccm jersey" starting at 0.99.
LAK74
Both are fake. (And they weren't made in Canada.)
TallicLizzy
Thought so.I thought the placement of the shield was off, as the numbers and lettering looked funny. Thanks for your input.

QueenAnnesRevenge
Anyone? Looks fake to me, on the numbers instead of proper glacier twill it looks to have the almost snake skin scales look to it which I've seen on numerous fakes. LAK74
In addition to the bad customization that NuJerzeyDevil pointed out, the collar and NHL shield backing seem to have a grainy texture. They should have a repeating pattern of horizontal lines. I'd say fake too.
akteon
The CCM's on the neck tags look fake too. Missing the point on the outside of the C, which is a common trait of fakes. That combine with weird texture on the numbers and other comments leads me to agree it's a fake.
Xspoilerx
Any help on this would be great. It's cheap so it almost one of those it's to good to be true type deals I am assuming this is just a replica and not an authentic with it being a heros of hockey jersey. But I don't know a lot about the ccm jerseys http://www.ebay.com/itm/200905694976?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D200905694976%26_rdc%3D1 Thanks
