I normally wear a 48 in the 6100 jerseys, do you think the 52 would fit me?

The Avalanche jersey i posted fits more like a size48

I got this one for $1 even if its a Panthers jersey still a good price

Is it just me or does it look like there is evidence of a nameplate removal? What's going on there?

is the crest screened on those too?

No..I have yet to see an authentic but it does not look as nice as the authentics..but it's not screened...possibly like the difference in hawks crests between the authentic and replicas?

Yes it did have a nameplate on it.The previous owner removed it.Its just as easy to add Svehla to the jersey since he wore #24 during the Starter years and he was pretty good on defense for them.

For $1 i couldent pass it up

The Starter jerseys vary wildly in sizes. I had a 52 that fit like a 56 in the 6100s. The Starter authentics were made 3 different places (El Salvador, Haiti, and Berlin, Wisconsin). It seems like depending on the year and where they were made there's some serious varionation in size.

If looking to bid on a Starter authentic, I'd recommend sending the seller a message asking for the pit-to-pit width.

Just got this back from Custom Crafted. Excited might be an understatement:

And @nogoal, it's Kiss Cut, as the third picture shows

Thanks buddy.

Now on to being a bit of a pain in the a$$. The serifs on the bottom part of the 7's didn't start until after the Bruins stopped wearing starter and went on to the proplayer in 1999-2000.

Looks like quality work though.

Nice Bourque jersey! Were they able to match the nameplate material with the jersey?

Amazing difference between the way the Connolly fits and the Alternate40th jersey. The Connolly is a 56 and fits me like an old Nike 56, it's perfect.

Yet the alternate I got in sz60 thinking they were going to be so snug after all I read on the board- so I went up a couple sizes. It does feel narrower

and the arms & body are way longer. But it's also made more of the stretch pique and lycra fabric, whereas the Connolly is 80% airknit type material.

It looks like it is. It only has the size tag and It's missing the Manufacturer label. It's weird that its a size 52. Usually they wear them bigger to accommodate the pads.
