New Arrivals v6.0

It's sweat. The jersey hasn't been washed at all because it stinks like death and those stains are still there. I'm probably going to throw it in the wash later on because it's ripe and I don't want it funking up the others.

So, remember our little threeway that was discussed last week? Well, I finally got mine....

I know some of you were probably saying to yourself, "Why the crap would Mike get rid of not one but TWO of the most sought-after Rangers throwbacks?"

There's always a reason to my madness.

And here it is. 1997-98 home white NIKE Tony Amonte w/ an added A:

Words cannot describe how thrilled I am to have been able to grab this. The only one better would have been one of his captains' jerseys from the years afterwards but this one will absolutely suffice!

VERY NICE! Far superior to a Rangers jersey any day.

For me, even though not hockey wanted to post. Game Worn AIS 2013 Washington Nationals Adam LaRoche Road 1944 Homestead Grays Throwback Jersey. This jersey was worn on June 1, 2013, against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field in Atlanta. The Nationals wore road 1944 Homestead Grays jerseys and the Braves wore home Atlanta Black Crackers jerseys from the Negro Leagues as a part of the Atlanta Braves Heritage Weekend; in honor of Atlanta's history in the Civil Rights Movement.

It stunk so I had to wash it when I got it. The MLB hologram fell off the back number (which I prefer) but I was able to find it in the machine and stick to my bill of sale in case I ever try and sell it. The jerseys are polyester made to look like wool. Being old school throwbacks they are very baggy and long, with longer sleeves.

Wow, THAT is pretty wild looking. The flannel look is a nice touch too. AIS makes the best throwbacks in the MLB as far as I'm concerned. I just wish they'd be available at retail.

Man awesome Amonte jersey. That's what trading is all about!

I've got a nice one today as well.

1985-86 Kevin McCarthy Hershey Bears, it has the 31 for the passing of Pelle Lindbergh and the AHL 50th anniversary patch. This is my favorite Hershey logo ever and my oldest Hershey gamer. Its hammered, has tons of huge ugly repairs, holes and marks. Wish I could capture them a little better. Its ultrafil too!

It took me three tries to pick out the 31 on that thing. I really am colorblind.

What a great looking style. It's got a bit of a Montreal Maroons thing happening. I like the patch on the hem too. Very sharp. The small C is cracking me up for some reason. It almost looks like it wasn't cut correctly.

bluejacket and I did ok at the sale despite the lack of content thanks to a lot of teamwork. Here's mine:

2013 CBJ Derek Dorsett Road (same reinforcement as his inside the collar), light wear, what looks like a blood stain along the inside of the left arm

2013 CBJ Mark Letestu Home - Mark switched numbers to 55 when Gaborik arrived at the trade deadline

9180712228_2c75022c69_z.jpg

2013 CBJ Derek Dorsett Alternate - A is partially sewn on, they didn't sew the inside in - typical from what I've seen with rotating A's, probably a pain for them to sew each night or so. This does not have any kind of collar reinforcement

Finally my favorite pickup,

2013 CBJ James Wizniewski Home (stick and board burns, some unrepaired holes) tagged for 2012-13 but it's also a wordmark patched vector jersey

It's even hemmed up about two inches on the body too:

That explains the logo looking so huge.

Nice bears, B! Those jerseys have always received high praise, and having the 2 patches certainly doesn't hurt.

That small "C" appears to have been an "O" that was trimmed up to create the "C". Very cool and resourceful if you ask me.

Thanks man! Yeah the patches are great, Its the best style ever imo, love the logo. Ron Hextall actually wore this exact style jersey and that jersey is my absolute #1 grail. Never have seen it or confirmed its existance but its gotta be out there.

I think it could be the top of the C, cut and turned but it could surely be either. Pretty wonky looking regardless!

I noticed that...almost looks like they chopped a U in half and turned it 90 degrees to make the superscript C.

If_you_know_what_I_mean.jpeg

I know some of you were probably saying to yourself, "Why the crap would Mike get rid of not one but TWO of the most sought-after Rangers throwbacks?"

Another part involved in our kinky little three way:

From Slim:

Brian Leetch CCM Small-Block Rookie jersey:

39394419279788-vi.jpg

And half a batch I sent Brilliant came back:

To replace my Ryan Callahan Game-Issue 2012 SC Finals I sold:

32394419272820-vi.jpg

Then, a Mike Gartner w. the NHL75 Patch:

42394419282261-vi.jpg

And finally filling a void since my first Rangers Replica jersey I ever owned as a kid, a John Vanbiesbrouck w. the SC Centennial patch:

Thanks Mike! The Customization looks amazing! Glad I could also help you out with that gorgeous Amonte Hawks jersey!

Grats on the Amonte, Mike - it's a beaut.

Also really digging that small block Leetch and the Beezer. You can also never go wrong a with a Gartner, nice pickups.

Mike did the Beezer and Gartner ones.

LEAVE HIM ALONE! Lol

That haul makes me realise why I used to love Rangers jerseys so much. Especially like the Leetch, and I commend Mike on his patience putting that Beezer customisation together.

Bringing something unsuaual to the table. Might not be the prettiest of them all, but at least rare and interesting one.

Team is now defunct Finnish club called Kirkkonummen Salamat. Season is 02-03.

Most interesting aspect how ever is the player who wore the shirt. Gordie How of women's hockey, Haley Wickenheiser.

She spend two seasons in Finland playing few dozen games in mens' league.

Ilkka, thanks for posting the pics. Did you buy the jersey from your friend or just posting pics? I'm still waiting for the white jersey to arrive from Classic. Would definitely love to have its blue mate someday.
