It could have just been a rushed signature, but like you said, for $100... you can't go wrong. Especially when you don't care that much about the signature to begin with. I've had good success removing signatures on ultrafil by using bleach. Bleach will not discolor the jersey one bit and I removed 20+ year old signatures on ultrafil by using bleach. If it's on white twill bleach will work too. Either way it takes multiple attempts and washings with cold water...lengthy process but easily doable. MeccaDon123 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Share Posted November 7, 2013 if it didn't pass an authentication i'd strip the 2 and have Ruberti's add a new one(again only if it was certifiably fake). per his location(philly) and his other items (signed pucks, 8x10's, sticks etc) it all looks legit to me. Some negative feedback but zero concerning fake items, sigs etc. he makes no claim the sig is authentic. 9x outta 10 when a sig is fake, the person posts a laundry list of evidence "proving" how real it is, or the other route(i got the jersey from a friend NOT REALLY SURE IF THE SIG IS REAL OR FAKE) thus getting themselves off the hook in their own mind.
