irishlaxburger2
Love the Hellas jersey. That royal blue is just gorgeous. Is that the Acropolis on the front? That thing is killer dude. I have a couple coming in from your buddy Mike over at worldhockeyjerseys.com actually. I bought them about a month ago and still nothing though which blows. I guess they're coming from Europe. Argh. I got a couple Blues kits in the mail today. I finished up the Golden Brett tonight: I just love the way they gave me the red vinyl layer in between. That really makes the kit. Vinyl inside two layers of twill? That. Is. Awesome. Never saw that before. Love it! Where did you get that kit from?
Brilliant!
Exclusive Pro did it for me. I had to request it but they did it and did it almost exactly the way Custom Crafted did it back then. I just love the way the vinyl reflects the flash back! I just wrapped up Blues jersey #2(HAR! Get it??) this morning:

JustAnothaVictim
Great work there, buddy. Thinking of re-doing my Gretzky Blues jerseys since the vinyl is little damaged. It got stuck to the cotton sheet while ironing. How did you apply the kits without damaging the vinyl?
Brilliant!
You know, I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it. I guess it wasn't that big a deal because it's all fine. But I did take the shirt off RIGHT after I sealed it up. Maybe that helped. I finished up the last of my Blues ones: I need a drink after this one. ARGH!!!!! HockeyMusic
Nailed this off my wantlist about a week or so ago (with many thanks to Brilliant who indirectly helped me to procure this) I know I'll probably not be able to afford the real thing, however, this is as close as I can get and it's good enough for me. Sweet, I had no idea Nike made an 80's Oilers replica. How long ago did they make these?

I believe you mean authentic, because I can see the fight strap sewn between the two 9s. All in all, great jersey, none the less.

The tags looked new so that is why I thought it was a reproduction authentic of the jerseys Nike made for the Oilers in the 80's. Still I would love to find one of these. This is one of my favorite jerseys of all time with the Nike on the hem.

The remakes are ultrafil, not mesh as it was in the 80s. I wasn't aware of the remakes until I saw someone with one
JeffB
Here's a jersey long in the making that finally got completed. I'm a bit uncertain on the exact year, but based on the Tackla diamond shapes without being contained in an oval shape, like later Tackla designs were, I'm fairly certain this is from 1991-92, perhaps a year or two earlier. The jersey came with the Jokerit logo and Karjala sponsorship on the front only. I made the Carrols patch for the front and had it customized with the name and #8 in twill, while the original Tackla gamers would have been dye-sublimated. It's the first time I've had one of these block "drop shadowed" numbers done in twill. The purple areas are empty to allow the fabric of the jersey to show through. It's impressive to see all those angles and lines all sewn on. I imagine it was a challenge to sew it all up. Also impressive is the creation of the rear Karjala sponsorship logo, which was not present on the jersey originally, and was created by the customizers out of heat sealed material and affixed to the jersey. It's just perfect and I'm thrilled the way it all turned out.

TMLFAN
I'll start the awsomeness on this page. Not a new pickup but I finally picked up a doner leafs jersey to use for nameplates and changed the nameplate on this jersey that came from gameday and was a touch lighter blue which was driving me crazy. It is impossible to see but it is there.

JeffB
I went to the recent Hockey Expo in St. Paul and was very surprised to fine Lutch had a booth there in an effort to try to drum up some team sales business. They also brought some really cool sample jerseys to show what they are capable of producing. They also brought the shock of a lifetime. A game worn Ilya Kovalchuk Ak Bars Kazan jersey worn during the lockout of 2004-05. I have a replica Kovalchuk Ak Bars jersey in my collection already and could spot the differences right away, as the sleeve logos are sewn on patches and the main crest is a fully embroidered patch, unlike the sublimated one on the replica. The wear on it is not as much as I would have hoped for, but it's there for certain, even if it doesn't come through as clearly as I'd like in the photos. It shows best on the jerseys right sleeve around the number 7 and wrist.
