Brilliant! Posted March 18, 2010 Report Share Posted March 18, 2010 Well, whatever it is, it's really nice. The fonts are both very accurate to monsieur Rogatien's time in the league. The only weird thing is that it looks like a Tackla mesh jersey. It has the wider holes(heh) and even the mesh collar that the Tackla jerseys had. Either way though, it's pretty sharp. I think all in I saved about $10 bucks compared to going into a Jersey City or using IJ or whatever. It was not a pre-customized listing, although it wouldn't shock me if they had a couple Ovechkins already kicking around (though the A on the front would probably indicate that even if it was kicking around that they did it as opposed to the Nike pre-done ones which had no captaincy letters on them). Also, it appears my pictures seem to only work some of the time, so I'll try to fix that tomorrow(today?) when I'm a little more coherent after some sleep. I also got this 2000-01 Tampa Bay Lightning pre-season gamer of Maxim Galanov. I always wanted Lightning jersey with the paint brush font and Galanov did play 6 games for the Rangers so it fit my collection. The great thing is the name and numbers are both kiss cut. Also got this in the mail today but I'm not really sure who I'm gonna put on the back, I have it narrowed down to Marleau or Heatley but we'll see. As a Leafs fan the Sens are right behind the Habs for most hated team in the league but even so I really felt for the Sens after what Heatley did but it's tough to deny a future 500 goal scorer. After thinking about it a little I am really leaning towards turning it into a Roenick. I always loved the way he played and really like his personality, also he's a 500 goal scorer and has over 1200 pts which should put him into the Hall of Fame eventually even though he didn't win a cup.
