Good stuff. Looking for some obscure replicas, he seems like the cheapest (and only) options on a few. (Manitoba Moose, North Dakota)

You can email him directly (sales at jerseybaron dot com) and skip the eBay fees, too. That's how many on the board buy from him.

I see this "jersey baron" guy has a ton of jerseys, is he legit?

JB's legitimacy is unimpeachable. If you're willing to pay, you will get top-of-the-line products from them.

The seller has added pictures to show how the name/number are sewn to the jersey. Does this change anything from the previous discussions about this jersey being a bit of a lost cause?

Correct.  CCM big block logo on hem with silver NHL logo is unique to the 1999/2000 season.

The seller sounds like he knows what he's talking about regarding the jersey brand, and it fits in with the player's career history.  But like any "game worn" jersey being sold without any photomatch, official tagging or team documentation, there's no way you can be 100% sure it's truly game worn.

It's definitely a legit jersey and certainly looks game-issued, but if you're asking if it's truly game-worn, I don't think anyone could conclusively prove that without a photomatch or at least some official team documentation.

But it belongs to a member here who knows those jerseys very well, so there's at least that.

What the crap? I don't know why the link isn't working.

It isn't working for me either. I also posted a few links over the previous couple of days, and for some reason, they never worked.

The link has a space at the end.  Copy/paste it into a browser and remove the space and it comes up.

Corrected link:

Anyway, as LAK said, it's not a fake, but without documentation you'll never really know if it was GI or GW.

Having now seen it, it does appear legit. Whether the wear on it is game wear from the Phantoms, or pickup game wear from Joe Blow, that you'll never know without documentation and/or a photo match as mentioned above.

This one is definitely better than the other wave jersey I previously posted since it doesn't have anachronistic customization. That does assume, however, that it's legitimate.

Size 58 is a BIG jersey, but if I understand your collection in that you do not wear your non-Hawks, it could be perfect for you.
