It's a Pro authentic 05-07 Caps jersey. This is the same jersey that was used by the caps durring that year. I'm no Dallas expert but I know the letters should be thinner and a few of them are off (checked with some other Gamers from those years). However, I couldn't find a great reference pictures for Truman. I'll show you the jersey, the photo I sent, and hopefully I can get some opinions on whether I let him know or just accept it. I am not a Dallas expert either, but I agree with you that the numbers on the RBK jersey do look fatter compared to the ones on the CCM jersey Barnaby is holding. The 5 foot long nameplate especially. I can't even remember how many sittings it took. I just had it on my coffee table and would pick at it whenever I had some time. A few careless snags but meh. Also I would think that the hem stripes should be somewhat bowed due to the rounded bottom of the jersey, and these look horizontal. Doesn't look good to me either.
