DropkickMurphy8
On the Winter Classic replicas that are pre-EDGE style, the vector is embroidered. It is that way on both my Hawks and Bruins WC jerseys. Interesting. The silver around the vector makes it look like a patch. Good to know. Sluggermatt15
Thanks to everyone who helped me out above. How about these 2? http://cgi.ebay.com/RBK-BLACKHAWKS-JONATHAN-TOEWS-WINTER-CLASSIC-JERSEY-L-/150628521795?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item231228d743 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-RBK-CHICAGO-BLACKHAWKS-WINTER-CLASSIC-JERSEY-sz-L-/360376772229?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item53e8212685 I assume they are both legit. The blank one looks good. But I am unsure of the customization on the Toews one. I just wanted to get additional opinions to either support or refute my claim as legit jerseys. Thanks! It is very likely that the customization on the Toews is factory done. What I did for my WC jersey was purchase it blank then send it to City Sports Lettering, who does the lettering for the Hawks. formyhunny
My link Can't quite tell...I'll leave it to the Edge gurus. I heard of these guys before. They basically get fake jerseys and get the players to sign them. The jersey itself is a fake.
Sluggermatt15
My link Can't quite tell...I'll leave it to the Edge gurus. The jersey is fake as hell. The reebok vector on the back is crooked. The auto may be legit, but who wants an auto on a fake? I certainly don't. But anyone else can do what they like.
flyhighguys94
That guy with all of the steeler stuff and "authentic"pens jerseys are all fake. If i was the player i wouldnt sign it.

Sluggermatt15
Bender, both of the jerseys you listed look like legit replicas to me. You should be good to go on them.
amonte78
My link Can't quite tell...I'll leave it to the Edge gurus. I just bought a signed Asham jersey yesterday. I already had my doubts about the signed alternate jerseys they were selling, the one I got looked OK. I bought the jersey to frame it, so if it's a good looking fake, I don't mind that much Here's another Asham jersey, just like the one I got: http://cgi.ebay.com/ARRON-ASHAM-SIGNED-AUTHENTIC-PITTSBURGH-PENGUINS-JERSEY-/220816225631?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3369ac355f

I tried to search his name "snoopyc" in the search here, but got nothing. Is there a thread dedicated to ebay users who sell fake jerseys? Might help for us newbies searching ebay that don't always know how to spot a fake right away

Also the name font is sloppy an other common trait on fakes. The autograph sadly probably is a legit. As for having a list of counterfeit jersey sellers - they get booted from eBay and change names so often I don't know if it would help. Akteon's right about the numbers and how shiny/crinkly they are. That is usually a dead giveaway when looking for fakes - how bad the customization really is. Also, authentic, "legit" Penguins jerseys from the early 90s (before they switched to the robo penguin), are REALLY hard to find, and they go for a pretty penny. So if you ever see one on ebay for less than, say $500, then it's probably a FAKE.
NYRangers_fan1994
My link The post says it's a blank Rangers Edge 2.0, size 58. I asked the seller for more pictures, but from the picture shown, what are everyone's thoughts on it?
Brilliant!
It's legit. But, for that price, you can get an actual game-worn one from MeiGray right now with their sale.

I would, but I would like either a Callahan or Dubinsky jersey, and the only ones they have on the Meigray site are $995, and aren't included in the summer sale, since they're consignment jerseys. Brilliant!
I'm not sure if it's something you're going for but I'm almost positive that both those guys wear a size 56 in EDGE. I know Doobs does and I'm pretty sure that Callahan does too.

I know Doobs does and I'm pretty sure that Callahan does too. Yeah, I'm not going for that much accuracy. I'm a big guy, so I'm going for fit rather than being the actual size the player wore. And, from what I've read, the 2.0's are supposed to be a little looser and fit more like the old 6100's, which I have a 56 and a 58 6100 (which again isn't quite accurate, since it's not a goalie cut and I had it customized to a Ludqvist), and I like the fit of the 58 better. So I'm assuming I would rather go for a 58 Edge rather than 56.
