Yeah George, you hit it right on the head. The pictures definitely don't lie and they CLEARLY showed the old Canada Cup design rather than Tackla 3D. I can't believe that the Hockey Hall of Fame would have such discrepancies but apparently they do. I'm glad it wasn't an error on my part too because I re-read the plaque underneath that Leetch jersey at the Expo and it clearly says that it was worn in the 1988 Olympics.

Is it at all possible the Olympic team wore these jerseys in pre-tournament "tune up games?" I do remember the US team playing the Flyers in a pre-season game. I just cant remember what what they were wearing. I actually have the program they were selling stored away somwhere. Wonder if it has any pics that would help.

So jealous! You need to sell one of those to me!! ;)

A merry early Christmas for me today, returing into town to find some love from EPS, in the form of two Ultrafil size 52 TBTC Barber Poles. Go Hawks!

Hell, if that's all it takes I will buy one every year!

LOL! If only it were that simple.

In other news, as much as I'm a Rangers fan and I don't buy jerseys I can't wear, I'd have to own a Belfour Barberpole one day. He was always one of my favorite goalies, and the Barberpoles just look amazing. I'm also seriously considering committing a baseball sin and buying a non-Yankees jersey just because I could turn it into my favorite player when I was growing up. Maybe one day I'll branch out and buy non-Rangers stuff. Maybe. Definitely no Islanders or Flyers crap though

There is nothing creepy about licking jersey crests or teabagging Flyers jerseys. I mean, who hasnt?

On a side note, anyone wanna buy a Flyers jersey from me?

What flyers jersey is it? Edge?

I was just screwing around about buying my Flyers jerseys (see: teabagging the crest line above), sorry :( (well, the white premier w/2010 SCF patch is available)!

I only have one authentic Flyers, and it is a 6100 airknit orange from MGG

What I find really odd/interesting about these jerseys is how much they can differ with the height of the stripes and the patch placement. The stripes clearly go farther up the jersey on the Larmer than on the Belfour. I understand how the patch could be placed at differing levels but not to sure how the stripes being different works. I placed the jerseys over one another and they are definately the same size.
