I am probably going to go Luongo, but the fact it was only worn in preseason bothers me. So does spending a lot of money on customization for a backup goalie lol. I might do Salo or Luongo, but there are sooooo many Salos out there, that I am bound to find one on the cheap side eventually lol. I like being a jersey hipster! The jerseys in the pre-2000 era has a smaller fit (at least in my experience). I know Chara had custom jerseys because the sleeves were too short, but looking at the 2nd picture, it looks baggy. Really wanna make a Potvin Kings, but I hate the direction jersey-wise that the Kings took from 1998 till 2011 (apart from vintage throwbacks). Another thing whilst I'm here, folks: Roy, Potvin, Hasek & Irbe were my favourite '90s goalies. I have a Sharks authentic which will be an Irbe rookie. Now here's the thing, I'm a huge TBTC fan. I have a Leafs TBTC replica which will be a Potvin rookie. Should I put my money towards a replica Habs & Hawks TBTC to make a Roy & Hasek? - OR - I've found a Leafs 1992-97 authentic for $90, should I get that instead so I have a Potvin authentic? I merely meant to say that not all Nikes didn't have nameplates. I should also amend my earlier statement to say that I have only seen CCM ultrafil gamers with nameplates. LAK74 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 The Rangers were wearing 2.0's well before Staal became alternate captain, but I think that putting the A on a 1.0 is one "foul" that most of us here would be willing to overlook, since 2.0's were not readily available for us to buy anyway, and basically impossible for some of us who wear smaller sizes. So if you're trying to make a vector 2010/11 Staal, I'd say go ahead if it doesn't actually bother you.
