mikey3319
The 60 1.0s and the 58+ 2.0s fit very differently. The 58+ 2.0s are a little wider and have way shorter arms than the retail 60 (1.0s.) That I do know. And MeiGray knows their stuff. I'm not sure why anyone would doubt what they have to say. This is typical Reebok confusion though because what they do doesn't make a whole lot of sense. This is what I know. When only 1.0s were available there was a size 60 retail. I have 2007 and 2009 all-star retails size 60. Once the 2.0s came out Reebok replaced the 1.0 60 with the size of 58+ for some reason. I distinctly remember seeing 58+ on a retail site and thought 2.0 right away, but that wouldn't have made sense back then, or now (except for a few team's exceptions.) I also know that I've never seen a size 60 in a 2.0 when it comes to an NHL jersey. Even Zdeno Chara wears a jersey that's tagged as a 58+, and it's obviously modified so it fits him. If there was anyone that would wear a 60 it would be him. As far as size 60 2.0s being available for retail for AHL teams, I know that's true too based on brandon's link as well as all the great information we all get from rabinsurance regarding Lake Erie's retail options. I hope that helps CJ. Sorry for the Reebok mess. They're very confusing, but we knew that already. man and i thought size 56 arms were long,, my 56 2.0s go down to my knuckles. i couldnt imagine a 58+ or 60 lol
Burnaby Joe Sakic
For the record, the Indo-edges come in size 60 For some reason, I'm not surprised AT ALL to see that. Jay, you could write a doctorate on the Edge 1.0/2.0. Great post. I just checked tonight and they do sell size 60 in the current AHL 2.0. Lake Erie is selling their third jersey, with the "Reebok" label and without the "M" logo on the left shoulder (gamers have a 5th anniversary patch on them). In the AHL jerseys, I've never seen a 58+. Thanks Rich and thank you Reebok for confusing the hell out of anyone who cares at all about jerseys and small details. What a mess. man and i thought size 56 arms were long,, my 56 2.0s go down to my knuckles. i couldnt imagine a 58+ or 60 lol Tried a larger size of the 1.0s Mike? Two words: monkey arms. seedmaya
Has anyone ordered an authentic from the NHL online store recently? I'm thinking about ordering a Sabres (only because I have a gift certificate from them), and the picture still shows the vector and country of origin is listed as Canada or the US (depending on which color you look at), so I'm wondering if they're selling the last of the 1.0s or if they pictures/origin are a lie. I tried emailing them to ask whether they were selling 7187 or 7231, and they basically said "we don't know, but we promise they're all highest quality." I don't think I believe that promise, so I figured I'd check and see if anyone here had checked it out already. In case anyone was wondering, they came today and they're definitely Indo-Edges, despite being labeled as "country of origin: Canada." I'm emailing them to complain and if that doesn't work I'll call next week, but I'm not keeping them and I really don't think I should have to pay return shipping since it's their mistake in mis-labeling the country of origin. Has anyone ever argued with them about returns, and are they horrible to deal with? I'm really disappointed, honestly, I guess the search for 1.0s continues. brandon
haha the NHL changed the country of origin on all of their jerseys about 2 days ago, all because of me harassing them non-stop, you should see the chain of emails, I even got a phone call about it. You're right, it has changed now. It was definitely Canada when I ordered them a few days ago though. It's extra BS, because I emailed them last week about whether they had 7187s or 7231s, or where they were made, and they told me they had no idea and couldn't tell. I guess we'll see what they say about it, I guess I won't hold my breath too hard.

JSDNJ
Whats up guys. I stumbled upon this thread after getting my 'Authentic' Kovalchuk from Exclusive Pro and noticing it was made in Indonesia. I feel as if I have been had. What are my options here? I feel like returning this jersey and trying to get a game worn 2.0 or a 1.0 actual authentic from stiches NJ. What do you all think? I plan to wear it to games if that matters. Here are the pics: Thanks for your help.
rabinsurance
Just in case anyone wanted photographic proof: 2011 AHL Lake Erie Monsters third jersey, "Reebok" patches, no "M" logo patch on left shoulder, 7287 Edge 2.0. You can complain all you like, but stores generally don't take back stuff that's been customized.

TMLFAN
Looking at the pics of the Kovalchuk it almost looks like Reebok decided to take a page right out of the counterfeiters books and just make a copy of a fake jersey and call it authentic. Shameful really.

Brilliant!
Take a look at where the fight strap is positioned in last year's jerseys. Obviously these are game-worn but you still get the idea: The Rangers 3rd is hard to see but it's attached right above the striping along the waist. The strap on the Kovalchuk looks a good 3 or 4 inches higher up into the back. I've only ever seen that on the jerseys that had those diagonal waist striping like the old Capitals and Mighty Ducks ones.

I cant imagine the indo-edge would differ from the on ice jersey there.
TheMoxieMan
Why wouldn't it differ? It's not like the materials, stitching, or anything else is the same as the on-ice ones, why bother to get the fight strap placement correct? It's not like the materials, stitching, or anything else is the same as the on-ice ones, why bother to get the fight strap placement correct? Because that is ridiculous. I might as well have ordered a chinese knockoff. Does the fight strap come on the blank? Who puts the fight strap on, the customizer or reebok? chadarini
the ducks wore camo warm ups for the troops friday. They auctioned the jerseys off at the end of the night and even raffled off a blank authentic. I was wondering how many other teams wear specialty camo jerseys and what they do with the jerseys after
LAK74
Not exactly camos, but last night the Kings wore their black home jerseys for warmups but with some wild red, white and blue back numbers and a USA flag patch. They will be auctioned off as well.

NYIJM29
The Isles are being auctioned off on NHL.com. Opening bid is $300 I think. Those that aren't sold will try to be sold at the NVMC (thats how I got my DiPietro!).
