Brilliant!
I really don't think there's a LEGIT 1994 patch anymore. The ones that I've used are that one from Murf and Pat. It's probably as close as you're gonna get. River City sold them a while back too but I don't know about now...theirs weren't as good anyway. Also, were there really two different sizes? I've always been under the impression that the Canucks wore the same ones as the Rangers did that year.
akteon
Also, were there really two different sizes? I've always been under the impression that the Canucks wore the same ones as the Rangers did that year. To be honest, I don't know if there were two different sizes - personally I doubt it. I've seen it mentioned in eBay listings and elsewhere that a certain jersey featured the special "smaller" version made for the Rangers. However looking at the pics from the 2 gamers, that patch is no smaller than the Murf & Pat or National Emblem one. I just find it funny that there is atleast 3 "legitimate" 1994 Cup Patches and that none of them really come all that close to the original. It's like they all took different parts to borrow from that patch.
Brilliant!
Yeah you're right. They all have good aspects of the original but none are spot on. Oh well. Like I said, I went with the one that Murf and Pat has. It's the smaller size and it looks good; even up close. That might be the way to go. Made in Motown
That sucks since mine is from them...Can't seem to find any "real" patches on ebay..hunting for the Yzerman retirement night patch,75 year patch, Wings 75 year patch. I believe these are legit 75th anny patches - please let me know if I am wrong: http://cgi.ebay.com/NHL-75th-ANNIVERSARY-9...p4999.m20.l1116

That's what I thought, but a lot of his other patches are pretty bad reproductions.

AeroFishOne
I've been searching for about 3 years for an Authentic Size 46 Phoenix Coyotes Third Jersey Pre-Edge Era. Cant seem to find on in 46.
flountown
I am currently deciding that my goal is to get a Scott Hartnell Valerenga jersey from his lock-out days in Norway. Another goal is to find an old KalPa jersey period specific to when Kimmo Timonen would have been playing in his junior-equivalent years. akteon
I'd love a 96 World Cup of Hockey Team USA... They are around if you keep looking. There are two types of white authentics however. They had factory customized authentic jerseys with numeric sizing, but no fight straps (as seen here). They also had blank authentic jerseys with numeric sizing and a fight strap (as seen here customized). I've seen both on eBay sporadically over the last couple of years. The one that remains as truly rare are the blue versions that appear to have been possibly team issue only or only released in very small quantities for retail (as seen here). Of the 4 blue '96 USA WC jerseys I've seen, all have had fight straps.
irishlaxburger2
Blue Koho authentic Rangers. Size 46, 48, or 50. Preferably blank. Oh, and a 9-11 ribbon patch.
Yzerman fan
I got one with the font that matches what the Red Wings wear. There was another seller at the time who had one with an incorrect, curved serif font. Where did you get your Yzerman patch from?
JeffB
Where did you get your Yzerman patch from? ebay. I went with this one. Can't recall who the seller was though. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-YZERMAN-DETROIT-RE...0#ht_1624wt_923 These all have a curved serif on the 1, which is incorrect. http://cgi.ebay.com/Yzerman-Retired-Number...07#ht_500wt_938 http://cgi.ebay.com/STEVE-YZERMAN-RETIREME...1#ht_1295wt_697 http://cgi.ebay.com/STEVE-YZERMAN-RETIREME...6#ht_3434wt_602

What is your opinion about this 75 year Wings patch?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT I can tell you that it's different than the one I bought in some subtle ways, but I can't honestly tell you which one is closer to the ones actually worn by the Red Wings. Since those patches were worn once and removed, detailed photos of the real ones would pretty hard to luck into. On mine, the border is thinner and a metallic silver and "yours" looks wider and white. Same for the trim around the numbers and the world "YEARS", silver vs. white. I also think mine looks to be a bit narrower of an oval. Mine is also "cruder" in execution, but it's older and probably more original/authentic. The patches photographed on that dark wood surface are reproductions. I remember that background from when I was looking for the Yzerman patch. HOWEVER, it's nicely done with no glaring errors and would be sufficient if that's all you can find after looking for awhile. Just remember, it was worn once, on October 11th, 2000 on the white home jerseys only.
devilsfan26
Well I waited too long to order the small 1996 World Cup patch for a USA jersey and now RCS and everywhere else seems to have run out. Anybody know where to pick one of these up?

akteon
Glad I picked some up from RCS when I did. I only wish they had also had the larger ones. I need one of those for my Canada WC jersey.

akteon
Sorry for the confusion, I was talking about the 1996 World Cup large patch (for Bauer jerseys). The one that 20_West has is a 2004 WC patch. Plus I wouldn't ever buy again from 20_West anyways they don't sell licensed kits (despite claims to the contrary).
