lafountain
I too came across the Rangers Nilan recently. I give them credit for originality on the player choice, but a FAIL for the customization. Its the thought that counts, right? Not NHL related, but I found this on the CCSLC boards. Could you imagine being the person who had to sew this onto the jersey? See if my name was that long, I would try to get the number 14 as my number so it would match the number of letters. Gotta love being able to set a record the moment you make a roster and still never have participated (Longest name in MLB history). At least he doesn't have a nameplate, that could make things interesting.

Tho, I kinda wonder if they tried that and it wasn't going to be able to be seen as well on TV (although a name that long is hard to miss). I was watching the Rangers on TV yesterday and it was quite noticeable when he came up to bat. IIRC, in the Surprise Stadium clubhouses for both teams they used an iron-on for the BP jerseys from what I've seen of the Royals clubhouse. I have a card of his from last season, they used a smaller font for his name on the blue jerseys from the previous seasons.

akteon
http://cgi.ebay.com/WHALER-CANES-CCM-GOALI...4QQcmdZViewItem Dang JuniorCats or whatever his name is. I swear he's like a jersey mad scientist or something. It always seems like when I'm looking for a specific jersey I think I find one and then I click the link to see it's one of his home-made monstrosities. I guess he's got a ton of crests and blanks and just makes whatever pops into his head. Atleast unlike Griffenfood, he doesn't attempt at all to pass of his jerseys as authentics. He does have some good stuff there, but he posts on another forum that I frequent where he has a reputation for being difficult and there seems to be a controversy involving him every few months. Curry1fan
I've seen a couple people wearing his jerseys at games, especially last month with St. Patrick's Day, and I knew instantly where they'd gotten it from.

He had a decent couple of seasons with them. Some even compared him to their other player Jaromir Jagr.

akteon
Ya know what I hate about all those fake Gretzky Rangers jerseys on eBay? They don't have the Edge diaper tail everyone loves ... but wait someone has answered my prayers: Not a Gretzky fan? What about the moose himself ... Still not satisfied? Fine then, feast your eyes on this beauty ... If you're not a Rangers fan, the same seller has a fake Mario Pens Edge
