PensJerseys
That jersey is a fake. Looks like a "Griffenfood Special". In this picture you can see how the different colored waist striping are sewn together. The original jersey was made of a one-piece material just like your Penguins road jerseys. Wow...I never even noticed that. Thanks guys.
JeffB
The sleeve numbers are the wrong font. They are too tall and too skinny. Just the fact it's shipped from China, that hockey hotbed, should tell you enough to stay away from it.

Brilliant!
That looks like the real deal actually. It looks like a 2007-08 version(see the 'RBK' rather than 'REEBOK' tag in collar) but it does look good.

You can't go wrong with a blank jersey because the fakes ones are already customised. The nice shot of the fight strap is a pretty good proof. Authentics have the fight strap attached with a piece of twill while on the fake ones they're attached with a smaller piece of their jersey material. Good luck on this auction! irishlaxburger2
Fake uncostumized RBK EDGE? http://cgi.ebay.com/WINTER-CLASSIC-BLACKHA...1QQcmdZViewItem Seems fake to me due to the neck-tie and slight variation in the front crest, but the fact that it's not customized makes me hope. Though the rest the seller's jerseys look fake. I'm guessing it's a fake, but it's interesting to see a blank fake nonetheless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like most of the fake sellers are located in Toronto. I think this probably has something to do with the large Chinese population in Toronto and their connections back to the homeland.

JustAnothaVictim
I recommend to save the pics of this auction. These are probably the best pics of a fake Blackhawks WC Jersey on the net. http://cgi.ebay.de/NHL-CHICAGO-BLACKHAWKS-...A1%7C240%3A1318 If you find auctions of fake jerseys with such great picture like these, please post them here. Carl
Could this be the long lost son of Wild Wing?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=330308730827 I can vouch for the seller - he's the one I got the 3 Nike size 58 WC jerseys from. It went for 227US. I really thought it would've gone for more than that. Let's blame it on the economic crisis

greyXstar
Hey all! Been lurking for a while but wanted your opinion about this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting It's a second chance offer and honestly I'm kinda nervous that the seller only has the one pic, but it's blank and from what I can see of the neck tag it looks good. The other jerseys the seller had up during the original auction all looked legit to me

I'd ask the seller for better pictures, get the tags, patches, fighting strap, the usual stuff. If he wants a sale I can't see how he could complain, and if he does complain you're probably better off out of it. That pics really small, nice to see what doors he has in his house obviously but difficult to tell much about the jersey from it.

Also, panthers jerseys are VERY rarely fakes as that team is not exactly the most popular one.

JustAnothaVictim
.How can you / we see this is a fake? First of all is the price of jersey. It is impossible to get a real customised authentic for 100 Euro outside of North America. The Reebok tag isn't sewn the right way. The stichings should be horizontal on the top and 2 short stichings in the lower corners. Maybe someone with better English can explain. The numbers and letters are too shiny and the surface of the material they used has a weird structure, best seen on the name close-up. The cut of the sleeves are way off the original. It's impossible with a real authentic to lay the sleeves that flat and also you can't lift the sleeves that high as you can seen on the full back view. And the jersey in the auction doesn't seem to have underarm gussets. p.s. ... still worried about my English when it comes to explaining something.
