Brilliant!

There is not too much to go by for me. No one has real edge jerseys around me and the winter classic jerseys since I believe they started shipping them in December there aren't many real ones around. Oh well, I will wait maybe NHL.com will have them in the outlet soon (but I doubt it)

yea, the authentic edge's are tough to find as well, basically gotta pay through the nose to get one.

I like the CCM/KOHO/RBK old style authentics better anyway, and they are going for under 100 on ebay for the most part right now.

Price makes it kind of hard to believe, and charging $50 for shipping is just ridiculous, I don't care if the auction started at .99. But to say for sure, would have to see additional pictures.

The numbers on the Bergeron looked crinkly like the common fake satin-like jersey numbers, but the picture shown didn't show off as much shininess they normally have. Looking at the other jerseys he has for sale, I'd say the guy is selling Chinese knockoffs.

I actually really like those hats but not $80 dollars like them.

Looks fake to me too. It's just impossible for the real Authentics to lay the sleeves that flat and straight.

Fake or not, you can't charge $50 shipping in an effort to keep the selling price down to avoid ebay's final value fees. He's to be avoided just on the shipping policy alone. In my experience, the more they charge for shipping, the more likely you are to have problems getting your item. A higher shipping rate never, ever gets you a comparable increase in service, and usually guarantees you worse service.

Also, his Lidstrom Red Wings Winter Classic jerseys have the wrong font for the name. The letters were bolder and rounded, like the Canadiens use, not a basic squared off block font.

Trying to hunt down a jersey I saw a few months ago. I am looking for a white T blades jersey. I've seen them on German and U.S. ebay, but now can not find one. I've contacted them and they saw they no longer have them. Anyone see one?

Kentucky Thoroughblades? That's the only one I can think of.

That's the only T-blades I know of, but figured that'd be too obscure.

I lived in Lexington when the Thoroughblades were around and went to an auction after they'd moved to Cleveland. We bought 30 game-worn practice jerseys dirt cheap for the UK Hockey team to use for practice. They also had some nice Miikka Kiprusoff game used sticks and gear that I wish now I had bought.

Can someone explain to me why people are paying such high prices for knockoff winter classic jerseys on ebay? Hell, you can get a legit one for the price these people are paying for junk.

That's exactly why. Just a game or two down at Joe Louis, and you'll see plenty of people wearing the Chinese knock-offs or the poor quality retail versions from Dunham's or ######'s (one more time -- Red Wings jerseys don't use nameplates!).

Of course, I would venture to say that part of the problem with the proliferation of bootleg WC jerseys is RBK's two-tiered approach between the replica and authentic, and the prohibitively high price of the authentic.

EDIT: The word censor caught up the name of a national chain of sporting goods stores that unfortunately shares its name with a vernacular term for a portion of the anatomy. :D

No way! There are treasures in Europe! Too bad these jerseys don't appear in search results in North America.
