At first I saw them where they still had "Gretzky Set 2 1998-99" on them even though they were customized as Messier. I guess you have to give them some credit for figuring out that Mess didn't play for the Rangers then, so they changed it to read "Messier Set 2 1994-95" which is humorous if they were trying to pick the cup year (off by one) not to mention the fact that the Rangers didn't wear Starter until '96-'97. That's not a bad deal at all. The first year or two of his Avalanche career wasn't pleasant but he rebounded quite nicely last season and managed to get the Avs into the playoffs, as well as a nice contract from the Capitals during the offseason. Up until last season, I would've never owned a Theodore Avalanche jersey he drove me crazy in 06-07. Once he redeemed himself last season and started getting his game back, it wasn't so bad and I hated to see him leave the Avs. Personally, I have always liked the guy, never had any reason to not like him. In the past 18 hours, I've purchased two authentic Canada Cup-style team USA jerseys; one blue and one white. I paid 120 bucks. FOR BOTH. Not too shabby at all. This is probably why I can't move any of the ones I'm selling though. Argh. I have spied a few Stars and Blues jerseys that I'd love to jump on, only money is a little tight at the moment. I am holding off putting all of my jerseys that I want to put up for sale on EBay until things pick up a little more. Although, the NFL jerseys I want to sell will probably just hit a garage sale. I can't stomach the thought of parting ways with some of my hockey jerseys too cheap. Especially when I'm aiming to use the money I get from the jersey sales to help me buy an authentic Edge jersey. On a related note, as an F1 fan, I was thrilled to see several Kimi Raikkonen F1 hats on sale for $24.99 even a couple with Marlboro branding something that you can't find over here in the states. Only problem is, I have a huge head (size 7 7/8-8 in fitted hats) and its a gamble if I want to go that route without being able to try it on. Otherwise, I've been fooled on a few of them. I've noticed a lot of the Stars jerseys (usually Modano) appear to have yellow instead of gold around the numbers and DALLAS on the front. Might just be an error in the description, ask him for a shot of the back of the jersey, should have the Reebok logo on the neck. 04/05 was meant to be Reebok too, til it got locked out. Always annoys me when sellers post a listing with one crappy small picture. Makes me pretty nervous of bidding too, like they've got something to hide.
