taro-chan
Thanks for looking at the link. I sent the seller a message asking about the sleeve tag as well.
mfitz804
Thanks for looking at the link. I sent the seller a message asking about the sleeve tag as well. That sleeve tag may not be original to that jersey. The hole is torn, and a new hole roughly punched through and the tag is attached that way. It could happen that the original tag came off and they just put a new hole to reattach it, but with the size discrepancy I would tend to believe that is not the original sleeve tag for that jersey. When I worked in retail, if a tag came off, and was lost, you'd definitely replace it with a tag for the same item regardless of the size. Inventory wise, all that matters is that you have the correct number of pieces. If you had 15 jerseys and sold 10, 5 are still in the shop, you didn't lose any money regardless of what sizes you have. If you sold a size 50 with a size 60 tag, your inventory could still be off in terms of what sizes you had, but you can live with having the correct number of pieces. Not saying that's what happened here, but its possible.
A Young Rookie Learnin
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chicago-Blackhawks-10-Partrick-Sharp-Green-Hockey-Jersey-size-50-L-/201103207435?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item2ed2af6c0b I have a real hard time judging Hawks jerseys, especially when there are so many fakes out there. And when the price is too good to be true, it usually is. This the case?
guam64
They never made those in authentic so it's pretty obvious that it's fugazi. Besides those things are about as tacky as it gets so nothing good ever comes out of getting one of those. The only people I have ever seen wearing those are as douchey as your average Cubs fan. MIGHTY-DUCKS8
Since i am a 6100 jersey collector and i only know so much as far as Edge jerseys go. I found this jersey local dirt cheap and was wondering if its the real deal. Everything on the jersey looks good but i want to be sure. Girouxsalem
Can't speak for the customization, but the jersey itself is good.
Of Senators and Kings
I think you guys know what I want to do to this....but is it good to go? Looks authentic to me but I defer to the Islanders experts here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-York-Islanders-Authentic-Reebok-Center-Ice-jersey-Size-52-/131187028229?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item1e8b5b3105

Also, can't tell if the 2000 is a patch or embroidered into the jersey.

So its gonna be that ironed on plastic type number Reebok uses. That's okay if I can get it for under $80. Just want a beater to wear to restaurants or pubs. Kings jerseys don't have shoulder patches so their premiers don't have the opportunity to fail in that regard. Nas
I'm more worried about the numbers/name patches than anything else. I don't recall ever seeing a Starter replica that had a player's name/number on it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-MIKE-MODANO-DALLAS-STARS-JERSEY-NWOT-STARTER-LARGE-/261491282567?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item3ce2185287 Also, this. Nike made replicas way after Esposito retired, so why is his name on one of them? Is it a throwback they made, maybe? http://www.ebay.com/itm/EUC-Nike-Tony-Esposito-Chicago-Blackhawks-replica-Jersey-/350987515534?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item51b87c768e Edited June 12, 2014 by Nas

Nas
I don't understand. You could have someone sew any name and any number on any shirt you wanted. I'm just wondering if those jerseys originally had those patches stitched on, or if they were initially sold as blank jerseys and someone had them customized later on.
