As for the price, I wouldn't say it's horrible - afterall buying that jersey in 2001 and getting it customized probably would have cost you just about as much. That being said, if you are patient you could probably save a hundred bucks and pick up a blank of that style (they pop-up occasionally) and have it customized. If someone valued it at $500, then probably he will buy it right away without a heartbeat. Someone, like myself, may value it $150 or may be even less. .. Different people valued things differently. There is not a real "market value" in a sense. I have seen jerseys listed on eBay and sell for $350, and later an identical one got listed and only fetched $200, another got more... Despite using the same style, the 1999-2000 ASG jerseys had the CCM logo on the hem, but the 2000-2001 style shown in that auction correctly has it below the neck on the back. As for the puck vs the shield, the NHL shield is used on authentic jerseys. CCM replicas used the puck on the hem. Matt...do I get an initial assist for this response or what? I can tell you the ones I got were the wrong colors and the wrong fonts. Plus they were fused to a twill nameplate. The were quite reluctant to give me a refund as well (they eventually did). That's when I learned that good quality correctly done customization is worth the extra few dollars. You'll be sooo much happier in the long run.
