wouldnt this have to be a fake for that bin price?

It is. That member and Griffenfood which may or may not be the same person only sell home made fakes.

Solid deal on my Morrow jersey. Has all the right patches - authentic, etc.

In retrospect, I would have got a size 52. I got 46 to wear it, but it just hangs with my other jerseys, and 52 attracts a bigger market. Although the pre Edge jerseys... this 46 fits similarly to my 52 edge.

Is there any reason to doubt the authenticity of any of those auctions?

the white dallas one to be specific

This drives me nuts:

I really want that jersey, & I think its a good price, but the crest was put on wrong. I see this all the time on pre-2000 Red Wings jerseys. Would it be a hassle to strip the crest (exect for the Isladers fishsticks jersey, all crests seem glued on and then sewn)?

When it comes to crests, I've removed a couple in my time for the purpose of putting it on another jersey. The heat sealing process is mean to be much more permanent and damages the underlying fabric to an extent that you would not be able to take off that Red Wings crest, rotate it and sew it back on without it's original location being very apparent.

Customizing of names and numbers are generally put on with a much lighter adhesive for the purpose of just keeping it in place before it can be sewn down permanently. This lighter adhesives can be removed and the fabric cleaned off with very good success so crooked things can be put back on straight or changed to a different player.

I've never tried to remove heat sealed names and numbers and imagine they would be as permanent or as damaging as a crest would.

I'd go for it. It's really hard to find an Ultrafil version and I don't see anything wrong with the crest. If you're poiting out on the feathers tip that should be pointing a bit more to the shoulder. I wouldn't care about it because that seems to be just like on the gamers too. Have a look at these, especially the Coffey and Mark Howe jersey http://www.dropthepucks.com/sotg/Detroit.htm

Whoa...an ultrafil Wings jersey with the Eastside tag inside?? That there is a 1989-90 jersey...and a rare one to boot. 89-90 was the last year that the Wings used ultrafil and switched over to air-knit. If you could get the 75th patch off, that would be one awesome piece; even if Sergei showed up a year later.

For this price, one could probably get a Mario game worn or a dozen others

Mario All-Star for $2K???

This seller always seems to have really nice stuff, he says it's all his and is emptying the closet, but everyday there's something new

at a ridiculous price. Why not just post them all at once and or where is he finding them...?

How hard would it be to strip this jersey,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=230409895978

Hossa didn't play for the team when that jersey was worn (92-95). Also I was wondering how would that jersey size up against a size 48 pre-edge reebok?

I can't really tell you how hard it would be to strip that jersey but I can tell you the pre-edge reebok's run a little bigger then the mid 90's CCM's.

That'll be a fairly tough stripping project simply because of the double-layered twill numbers. If it was single-layer, it would come off a little easier but there's still no guarantee unfortunately. Ultrafil isn't very forgiving when you try to strip it. That said, it's still a beautiful jersey and would look great if you could get it all off.

that luciano guy seems hella suspicious, almost irritating with his retarded caps / typo spam descriptions...

Selling edge 2.0 crosby jerseys for 150 $ seems awfully fake though... with no original photo aswell.. weak

Agreed.

Now I'm also in hunt of either a replica or authentic 96 World Cup Canada jersey blank or one customized already with Yzerman. ###### that lost auction still stings.

Saw that too. Loved him as a player, but that has to be some of the strangest-looking lettering I've seen in a while.

Rochester Americans NWT from 2006-07. Absolutely amazing jersey. Was going to get David Booth put on but selling off a few of my jerseys after two recent purchases (Luongo Canada and Burrows Canucks 3rd).
