It arrived today v2.0

Hmmmm...that is odd. The fly tag in the collar suggests Bauer or SP with the PRO printed on there. The NHL shield tag I've seen before too but not often and only recently. This adds further speculation to my claim that Pro Player just copied Nike's style in 1999-00 and put their logo on it. Is it game-worn? Does it look like a plate was removed from the back?

The weight of those Coyotes jerseys combined with that thick collar made them really great.

Also, the Blues used Starter mesh as their third jersey in 1997-98 and their home and aways in 1998-99.

Like I said, I've never seen one up close, but it's always been one of my favorite jerseys design wise. It's a shame it doesn't fit him because I've always wanted one and I can't even buy it off him. As it is he fits in smaller jerseys than I do, so if it doesn't fit him it's definitely not going to fit me.

There are no signs of game use and there was a nameplate removed from it. I have seen pics of camera and the tag does say PRO like this one but there is a size on it as well, like 58G.

Yeah it was, to my surprise, the numbers do not look creased in person. Very happy with the pickup.

I'm late to the party...Glad it went to a fellow board member

SP has done a lot of private labeling, and yes, it looks like their tag. It makes me wonder if they were the company that actually manufactured the PP jerseys. Or did for a period of time. The IHL and AHL jerseys that they made for Bauer at that time were mostly ultrafil. I'm pretty sure that the only ultafil PP team was Montreal. It would be interesting to compare a Montreal PP jersey with a Bauer IHL ultrafil to see if the material matches up.

Yeah, they were the only Pro Player ultrafil team. I don't have one of them though. I've felt them at shows but I don't own one to do a true comparison. Boy, who would've thought that between a Habs Pro Player jersey and Bauer IHL jersey from a certain era, I would have Bauer one and not the Habs!

Another note on the Flames jersey. On my other ones the logo and shield are not sewn all the way through the hem, they are embroidered on the jersey and the hem folded over them on the inside of the jersey. On my new one, both the shield and the logo are embroidered all the way through the hem.

Picked this jersey up at last nights game. Its a 01-02 set 1 game used Deron Quint. Its hard to see in the pics but the jersey is covered with puck marks, rub marks and some burns. It also has repairs on both arms.

I started cracking up when I saw the shot you took of the back. It looks like Stinger is giving me the evil eye and saying, "Why I oughta...!" HAR!

That jersey has some good wear on it for a scrub like Quint too. Nice pick-up. Columbus is definitely one of the expansion teams I want to see stick around. They have a small but loyal fanbase and CAN be successful in the future if they play their cards right.

A couple that came over the last couple days:

Winter classic EDGE 2.0 Jason Chimera (note the A is wrong, he didn't wear that for the classic and this jersey will either becoming a Mike Knuble or Backstrom jersey). This was the oppostie to the Ovie jersey that was hotly bid on and went for $330.+.... my jersey only went for $202.00 :stickhndl:

Where did you get the Roenick customized? I need a nameplate for my Alfredsson.

I bought it as is from a ebay seller in Canada.... the name plate however is wrong. It is Twill, whereas my Datsyuk is actual jersey fabric... All gamers I have found were actual jersey material (except I have only ever seen Western jerseys) but I am assuming the East also used jersey material and not Twill..... I still bought it because I actually like the throwback look the Twill gives it and will probably not bother getting it replaced (gasps).

Edit: I would try EPS and see if they have anything close, let me know if you ever find a place.

I have a 04 West Nash and the name plate is twill. I got mine from NHL.com in 04 so maybe they did all of theirs in twill?

Got this in today...I think I'm going to make this a 1997, but I'll have to change the numbers and all-star patch. I've given up on making a 1996 because I can't find a Jets patch. I want to replace the S in Selanne, as well.

When did these switch to airknit? I was expecting Ultrafil, like my Eastern one. I guess I made it the wrong year, haha oh well.

Now I'm confused. I don't know if it's airknit anymore...the tag on the inside makes no indication. I'm confused and alone. Tag says Maska Polyester. Also, no CCM giant tag, but a NHL Player tag. Wtf?

Just got this back from Stitches in Whitestone.

Islanders team issued blank, customized with John Tavares

Thoughts? This is the first jersey I've bought blank and had customized by somebody.

######, that was quick. I have been buying jerseys for over a year now and haven't gotten around to getting any of them customized yet. It looks great.

The Tavares looks good. I'm still debating on who to put on my home Islanders. I've tossed around Roloson, Moulson, Okposo or Weight.

hmmmm. I bought both already customized from private collectors..... I personally love the Twill over the mesh. If anyone has a gamer please comment.
