Ontario peeps who work in Healthcare or are First Responders -- get your hat in the ring for a chance to win on this year's Maple Leafs St Pat's jerseys, as they are giving them away to Ontario residents working on the front lines during the Coronavirus Pandemic!

Classy move and one that will certainly generate lots of good PR for the Leafs organization. As awesome it would be to own one of these, anything to reward those putting themselves on the front line is good in my book!

Valued at cost so there’s less/no tax consequences to the recipient, maybe?

I have no idea how Canadian stuff works.

As I understand it's based off of a sliding poutine scale.

We Yanks can't comprehend it.

My guess is that it’s a customized indo.

It sure looks like it from the pics doesn't it

Could be that. Still a nice gesture, especially since the recipients are unlikely to care about the difference. Unless ALL Canadians just collect hockey jerseys as part of their birthright.

If they did, I don't think Edge resale prices would be in the toilet. Except for the Devils, maybe.

You guys...full of humor.

Well, you’re full of SOMETHING.

Really glad there aren't as many Blues and Wings collectors.
I can only imagine the jabs flying wild on here.

You Rangers and Devil's fans are fairly cordial compared to some confrontations I've had in Western Conference Stadiums.

Well, to be honest, I’ve been completely inebriated all week without a job. I just realized today isn’t Thursday.

Aside from the job, that doesn’t seen that different for you.

You rang?

Hard to talk s*** when your team is, well, troubled might be a word.

Reminds me I went to the Hawks v Rangers opener in 2017 as I was in Chicago prior to going to the LCA opener, and no one at the UC appreciated my Red Wings hoodie or t-shirt. Made minus 300 friends.

I literally got pulled into a parking lot fight at the old Continental Airlines Arena for walking past a Rangers fan who was just looking for anything black and red to swing at.

The rivalry has calmed down since we both have sucked for an extended time. Or maybe just I have mellowed out in my old age.

In the early 90's my buddy and I went to the old Chicago Stadium for a Blues vs Hawks game. It was awesome hearing the bagpipes blow our eardrums out as the band went around every level and played Irish songs.
We sat up in the 300 "nosebleed"  level where, back then you could still smoke.
Couldn't believe all the fights on the ice and as I was pointing them out, my buddy tapped me on the shoulder and started pointing to all of the fights in the stands.
As we scanned the 3 levels from right to left with him pointing out another, and another my eyes finally rested on the 200 level just below us on my left. There was a dude the size of Lou Ferrigno wearing a Blues shirt. He stood up looking for someone to challenge - almost immediately he got blasted by a woman who was swinging her giant purse, all Hell broke loose, the Blues fan took on any, and everyone. Finally security came and as they were escorting him out one of them must've tried grabbing him - as they scuffled and disappeared down the exit one of the security personal came flying back, landing on his wallet. He sprung back up and ran back into the fracus followed by about 15 fans that wanted to get a piece of that guy.
You had to be really tough or really dumb to try and get loud wearing an opponents jersey in Chicago back in the day.
Years later in the new building we went to the home opener (which always seemed to be against Detroit) by this time Detroit had started their dynasty and the Hawks.. their 10yr decline.
Our barn was packed with 80% Wings fans and they were all running their mouths. I got called out by a drunken Wings fan who was leaving early and yapping his whole way out. When I stood up he turned and walked away. (thankfully) I'm a big guy and can hold my own but prefer to walk away.
When I go to games now and see people running their mouth I can only imagine how they'd get their lunch handed to them back in the day.

The two dudes laying on each other behind the net looked awfully comfortable like that, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
