TheKevinShow
So, who found out who the Ducks' current customizer is?
dsl135
And can we get some kind of link to the business?
LAK74
Sorry, but there isn't any info available. As I alluded to earlier in the old thread, it seems to be an individual, who may not even be a regular company or business. It's not likely you'll find a storefront location somewhere so you can send your jerseys there to get lettered. There's probably a good reason why 4 years later, we still don't know anything about the Ducks' customizer.

TheKevinShow
Since I won't get a response until Monday at the earliest if I email them, what does EPS charge for 2004 ASGs?
LAK74
Don't quote me on this, but EPS usually charges $65 for 3-layer kits. Plus extra for the team patch and/or stitching of it to the jersey.

Yup, pretty sure it's $65.
TheKevinShow
Yes, they charge $6.50 per patch. I'm asking these questions way ahead of time since I like to get mine customized in the order I buy them, but what material are those supposed to be customized with? TheKevinShow
Well, I don't know. Maybe they used felt since the jerseys were fauxbacks. I don't know all of these things.

I don't know all of these things. Yes, $65 + $6.50 to see on the team patch, which you must provide. I sent one in several years ago and it was done with twill. Not sure how the game jerseys were. The lettering on the front is felt (on an authentic anyway).
TheKevinShow
Yes, I'm still trying to track down an authentic. I want to get both of the 2004s in replicas, so I can wear them, but also in authentics, because they're one of my favorite ASG sets. Also, the lettering on the replica is twill. LAK74
If you look up a pic of any GW you can see the numbers are twill.
TheKevinShow
Is there a designated topic for questions about the proper materials that a jersey should be customized with? If not, I feel like there should be one and this chain of discussion that I started should be moved to it.

Yes I have a replica I have to sell, and the lettering is twill instead of felt. 26 minutes ago, LAK74 said: If you look up a pic of any GW you can see the numbers are twill. That's usually what I do, but I want able to do it at that moment. Thanks for the assist. They would have been pretty cool with felt. tcmstr
Someone was asking about Montreal in the old thread... The shop at the Bell Center claims to use the same source as the team, but will not divulge the information of who that is. My quick comparison with a buddy's game worn and my 2.0 purchased through them look to be correct, though sizing looks funny as I have a 46. TheKevinShow
Did Bobcat do the 2002 ASGs?
LAK74
Not exactly. Bobcat's owner did them back when he worked for AIS, who was the official customizer that year. I would just go with EPS, who does a great job on these, and especially considering you use them for practically everything else anyway. mfitz804
I had EPS do a 2002 replica once, it looked awesome. They have my 2002 authentic in their clutches as we speak. They have done a great job on 5+ ASGs I've sent from various years. Edited July 12, 2016 by mfitz804

All of my authentics will be going to their proper customizers. Case in point, my Hawks 2.0 currently at CSL.
LAK74
Hence, "practically" everything else. (I'm guessing your replicas outnumber the authentics nearly 10 to 1.)
TheKevinShow
Nearly 4 to 1 - authentics are 22% of the collection.
