If this isn't kosher, or needs to be deleted, mods, please go ahead. So a store by me has TONS of Edge 1.0 jerseys for sale. Some people have seen this in my sale thread, and I've managed to help a few so far, but this may get more hits. That, and they've knocked the price down even further as of yesterday. Being that these are Edge 1.0's, the styles are from a couple of years ago (though I think the only team to change their jerseys since then is the Maple Leafs). Here is what they have (they may have more sizes, but no other teams): The tags on most of these read "7187A" but there are a few that say "7187H"... so someone correct me if I'm wrong about them all being Edge 1.0's. - Sabres blue "Buffaslug" (54, 60) **Even cheaper than all the rest** - Leafs home blue (50, 52, 54) - Leafs away white (46, 50, 54, 56, 60) - Leafs third white (46, 50, 52, 54, 56) - Blackhawks third (52) - Canadiens home red (60) - Canadiens white away (60) - Canadiens centennial red, w/ CA on the front (46, 50, 52, 54, 56) - Canadiens centennial blue (46, 52, 54) - Canadiens centennial green leaf (46, 50, 52, 54, 56) - Red wings home red (54, 56, 60) - Red wings away white (52, 54, 56) - Capitals home red (60) - Capitals away white (52, 56) - Capitals winter classic 2011 (46, 50, 52, 54, 56) - Penguins home black (46, 50, 52, 54) - Penguins away white(46, 50, 52, 54) - Penguins third powder blue (46, 50, 52, 54, 56) - Vancouver away white (60) - Vancouver home blue (58+) Just message me and we'll work it out. I'm trying to work with everyone on a fair price on a case by case basis. I've already done a bunch of transactions with members (and I'm going with a way lower price than I'm getting on eBay for you guys here). I'm not going to rape anyone on price or anything, but if anyone's interested, just shoot me a message and we'll work something out. "Working" on a "fair" price without letting the community know what store exactly and how much they're charging is bulls***. With the SVP sale, the prices were posted in the thread for everyone to see, and anyone going to the stores to pick things up for members here let it be known how much more they'd be selling them for. All you're doing is trying to decide what a "fair" price is for YOU to make a quick buck. Post the name of the store and how much they're charging for each jersey. I had my doubts as to whether this topic should even be in the "NHL" section of the forums. Unlike the SVP thread, no store name or prices have been mentioned, so in effect the jerseys are being "brokered". Either name the store, or move this to "The Trading Post". I said from the beginning that I was just posting this here to get more exposure so that I could help more members. I've been honest with every member who has messaged me that I'm trying to make a profit on each jersey as I've been out of work for 6 months (not a sob story, it's the truth). If you also care to read my initial post, I said I have no problem with this thread being deleted or moved. I wanted it to get more exposure so that more members would see it. It works to my advantage, and others as well, as they may not have seen my trading post thread. I've worked with several members and am not making a huge profit on any of these jerseys. I didn't get any messages from you, so I'm not sure why you're taking so much of an issue. For all you knew, I was selling these for $50. I was doing it on a case by case basis so that everyone got a jersey for a price they were fine with, while I also made some profit. The store is Dave and Adam's Card World. They have several jerseys that are on sale for $108.74 after tax (some are even lower this week, but I apologize for not having a list of a price of every single jersey). I don't mind helping a forum mate out with a few bucks when they can hook me up, I was just a tad irked that the original price wasn’t made known from the get-go. No harm done though and that’s my fault for not pushing harder for information. Lesson learned. Just annoyed that the jerseys went on further discount the day after mine was purchased, but so be it I suppose - that's no one's fault. I’ll just pretend that I picked this one up from HockeyMonkey in the same order I placed a week ago. I don't have a problem with the guy making a few bucks either, but without posting the name of the store and the original price, it's basically the same as any other for sale thread and he can mark them up as much as he wants while still calling it a "sale price". The whole point of the SVP sale was that everyone knew what the jerseys actually cost and how much of a markup they were paying through someone on here. Just because someone else is getting a deal doesn't mean you have to share it. If you don't like the terms, don't buy, simple as that. Freakin' socialists lol. It's not like he's beating anyone, and even if he's trying to, we all know better. Everyone has a price they're willing to pay for a jersey, if they agree to the sale, it doesn't matter how much the seller paid for it; if you're getting what you want for what you want, be happy. ConcreteCharlie Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 The store will not ship to your home so he's got to do the legwork of finding the deal, answering questions, fronting money, going to the store/picking up the jerseys (time+gas) and then he's got to mail them. So a $75 jersey becomes an $82 jersey with tax and then a $97 jersey with gas and time and then a $110 jersey with shipping and a $115 jersey with Pay Pal fees ... I don't get the people who expect someone to find a deal, share it, and then take a loss to hook other board members up with a find they could have easily housed for themselves to put the stuff on eBay where some of these jerseys are still around $200.
