ZoomZoom18
They need to hem up the tail like the Rangers are doing now. BIGTIME! That hem looks bad like that. Then I found this... http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-Reebok-Home-Color...1QQcmdZViewItem $50 for a Sakic Edge personalized jersey? Too good to be true? It'll probably go for more. They're using a stock photo. Sakic's name should be a vertical arch, no? I'd demand a photo of the back of the actual jersey before pursuing it. Hazzard
What do you guys thing of this jersey? Is it authentic? It looks legit to me, my only concern is that it looks like the green on the shoulders comes to a small point in the center/top of the back... and I cant find a pic of the 1996ish style that has that point, or maybe its the way the jersey is hanging that gives it that appearence. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=

JeffB
Looks like a regular authentic jersey to me. Looks good to me too. Now, a board question. How come when I am quoting a post that has a quote in it, the first quoted post doesn't show up in my post? I've never seen a board behave this way. Probably a setting that icejerseys set up when they set up the board, prevents long strings, so not really a bad thing.

The original retail authentics were this way. I had a catalog from the Coyotes/Suns/D-backs that had pictures of these jerseys. That jersey is authentic. Brilliant!
I have the old Starter home Coyotes jersey too and it has the same little point on it as that one does. It's definitely genuine and a bargain at that price right now.
ZoomZoom18
Everytime I see the old Coyotes jerseys, I kinda wish they were still using them. They definitely stood out, but the color combination was sharp!
Brilliant!
The NHL Network aired Phoenix-Anaheim from the 1997 Western Quarters as one of their 'Classic Series' episodes a few weeks back and that was the first thing I noticed. Those old jerseys were wild and I wish they still had them. That and they have to bring back "Werewolves of London" for their goal song!

DesertRat
I recall so much ridicule about these jerseys and now everyone loves them?? I liked them, but trying to explain the logo to non-Arizonans was getting frustrating. The ones with the shoulder stripe coming to a point in back were the initial retail run. The on-ice jerseys' shoulder trim had a straight line going across that did not come to a point in the middle. They were selling these for $25 at the Coyotes pre-season 'garage sale'. DaNoobie
I suspect these to be some sort of knock-offs, but I cant exactly put my finger on why. Can anyone tell if these are legit or not? http://cgi.ebay.com/Vancouver-Canucks-Vint...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Vancouver-Canucks-Vint...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Vancouver-Canucks-Vint...1QQcmdZViewItem I think the Blue Luongo's name doesn't seem right, the font on the C seems too wide/big, and the front crest on the white Luongo is seemingly not centered. In addition, all of his name plates seem shiny (the blues are shinier than normal?) Also the blue Luongo has the MyNHL tag, which should just be a vintage tag, correct? In addition, all of his name plates seem shiny (the blues are shinier than normal?) I'm pretty certain that the nameplates they have used on these are twill material like the numbers (instead of the same material as the jersey iteself) and have a sheen to them that will reflect the flash during photography, making them look shiny and lighter colored. At first glance the jerseys look good to me, but I'm not so sure that the customizing was done with the exact fonts. I'm sure others would be able to talk about that plus their opinions on the jerseys themselves.
JeffB
Are these sleeve numbers too thick? They just don't seem 100% to me.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It just looks like a third-rate custom job on valid jerseys. As for that Pens jersey, the numbers and the C look waaay too thick. I can't find a decent picture of them but I can recall the numbering being significantly thinner than that.

The one on the left just isn't going to be good enough. It's actually not an Edge jersey, but a CCM 550. You can see the difference in the hem line shape and the laces.
