He states right in the auction he doesn't want to sell it, so he priced it really high just hoping you'd find the auction and then look at his other ones. I did that once with a jacket I wasn't sure if I really wanted to part with. I listed it once at a price I'd part with it at, but was fine keeping it if no one was willing to pay that much. That jersey is not worth even $400. Maybe an authentic is scarce in that style, but those fisherman jerseys are actually really common on ebay. Appreciate the heads up, but I've got a Vinny authentic from the cup year with the patch, and I've got a strict 1 jersey per player rule, its the only thing that keeps me from going broke, what with my authentic snobbery That's a sharp jersey though, I've got an Edge in Richards and I couldn't love it more. Actually, the fonts for the back numbers were wrong on that jersey. He's got some awesome stuff, some of which I bought, but some of it did have customizing issues, like the Blackhawks TBTC with the wrong font and sleeve numbers they never wore. Those being on cards will likely have the hard plastic backing that prevents you from sewing it onto a jersey without first boiling the patch and removing the plastic. According to this auction though, they're worth 45¢ each! Guess what, you get to try again. Not my first choice. I have one small issue and two really big issues with the customizing. I believe it was only worn about six times. Gretzky was the captain of the team before a late season move to St. Louis after playing 62 games with the Kings. I would assume that since the Burger King jersey was essentially "rejected" mid-season, that the chances are that the Kings would have been done wearing it by the time Gretzky left. What I'm getting at, is I have my doubts that Blake wore this jersey with the "C" on it. I'd really like to see a photo of Blake in this jersey with the "C" on it. Second, that horrible looking nameplate on the back that overlaps the grey/black stripe! They did NOT use nameplates. The names were sewn directly to the jersey to prevent that kind of jarring overlap. Then, the names and numbers are straight up and down. They should be italicized.
