hatryk
I was rattling around the internet and saw Adidas Authentic Vintage Jerseys They have fanatic brand CCm Brand and adidas. Im specifically asking if anyone has seen the vintage authentic adidas line and what is the quality of it? Heres a link on NHL shop https://shop.nhl.com/arizona-coyotes/mens-arizona-coyotes-adidas-black-authentic-heritage-blank-jersey/t-92267284+p-140230978194+z-8-402299146
jsh139
That looks like a normal Indonesian-made Adidas jersey to me. Just so happens to be the Coyotes third/heritage jersey they’re wearing this season. I wasn’t aware of any separate Adidas “vintage” line. Are you saying such a thing exists? JimmyGagner
They're the exact same as the CCM Vintage & Heroes of Hockey line. They use the CCM 550 template, same fit and fabric, new brand labels.

JimmyGagner
Really. It was a branding change and addition of a fight strap.
jsh139
So, then they’re not as shittty as the Indozeros? That sounds promising.

I don’t actually mean this to sound sarcastic, but if the Adidas Vintage Pro Jerseys have the same materials and construction as the replicas, then is one essentially paying an extra $40-50 just for a fight strap and different brand labels? No double elbows or heavier weight material?

LAK74
I'm getting a bit confused about all the "authentics" that are now being offered by Adidas-owned companies. Previously, all of the "Team Classics" CCM jerseys that I had seen in stores were replicas. I don't know when this happened, but now there are "authentic" CCM Team Classic jerseys, with fight straps and number sizes: https://shop.nhl.com/pittsburgh-penguins/mens-pittsburgh-penguins-ccm-white-classic-authentic-throwback-team-jersey/t-36265265+p-8019015490977+z-9-396094265

I'm not aware what CCM's current rights are for retail jerseys. You are probably only seeing their old line of vintage authentics (ie: that Pens jersey). They've had a replica line and an authentic line for quite a while. Adidas owns the rights to "authentic" jerseys at retail, which is why their vintage line has the added fight strap. LAK74
You’re right, I had forgotten about the sale of CCM. For a few years I have seen the CCM Team Classics series of replicas, but not once did I ever notice that there was an authentic series as well. Thanks for the reply.
