Both are replicas and from different years. The Rangers never wore the Liberty on the ice with CCM logos, they were only made as replicas. Starter was worn for the first two seasons the Liberty was used, then they switched to the white Liberty which was also Starter for a season before going back to the blue in 99-00, but they used Pro Player that season. CCM jerseys before 2000 at the earliest had the logo on the hem. CCM jerseys after the 99-2000 season had the logo on the back of the neck. Again, the Rangers never used CCM on the ice for the Liberty jerseys. They went from Starter, to Pro Player and then to Koho and Reebok after the lockout. Nothing wrong with either jersey. At the same time though, they are replicas, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I personally think that with some patience you could find authentic versions either complete or blank and then customize them later for not much more money than the Leetch you posted, and the job would be better than that one, which doesn't look too great.
