tomtucker
Can anyone tell me why the hemlines are different on sid´s and geno´s jerseys ?
TMLFAN
They are altered by the pens at the players request. Why sid and geno want that modification beats me
furiousd
I had read that Crosby likes his hemmed like a 6100. I guess that's what the team does for his.
JJM4
After the next CBA the NHL will control everything to do with jerseys and request a modification for material to be added at the hem for more ad space.
PenguinsChronicles.com
Malkin's has extra length added because a few years ago his jersey came off in a fight and since he doesn't use the fight strap they added the extra length to help prevent it and cover up the fact that he doesn't tie his jersey down. You'll also notice he has two extra swatches sewn in the back to the left and right of the set tag to prevent the jersey from moving as well.
