There are pics of gamers on MeiGray to compare to. It's for reasons like this why I only get kits made by the individual team customizers. If only we knew who all the team customizers are. I received my package from IceJerseys today and once again disappointed, for the third consecutive time. - Captain's C is wrong - Nameplate is a tad off center - Sweden patch is a little too far to the left, I supplied a photograph of how I wanted it here's a picture of the correct "C" I think I could have lived with the other errors but the wrong "C" is going to really bother me Ottawa wore the white jersey twice in Sweden, once against Pittsburgh in the 2nd game of the 2008 season and against the Frölunda Indians which was the team Alfredsson played for. He had 2 assists against Pittsburgh and a goal against Frölunda. It's a jersey I have been wanting to have customized for a while now. Just send it back to icejerseys with a detailed explanation of what you want changed. Some of you may remember the epic fail custom job on my Kris Letang Penguins road jersey from a couple weeks back. Well...I got the corrected version yesterday, and it is MUCH better. The return address on the package was from Exclusive Pro Sports, so I'm assuming IJ sent it there. I couldn't be happier with the new jersey. Also, no photomatch, but here is a video of him in it. Is that usual? My other USA from that year is XL: -Phantoms Giroux XL; I'm a big Giroux fan and I had a spare Phantoms jersey and this turned out great! -Mighty Ducks Selanne 52; one of my grails from childhood and EPS FINALLY made this right for me! I plan on sending my blank Mighty Ducks Alternate of the same style except mines a 56 to get customized with Selanne on it as well from EPS. I hear that all the time and for the life of me, I can't understand it. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and all but it's far from my favorite. For me it's the use of grey with the navy, red, & white and extra details on the authentics, the dazzle and the mesh. I also like what they did with the USA logo, turning it into a round crest and the simple shoulder patches. I do agree that's it funny so many people like it considering how bad the team was when they wore it. Oh well...that's just me. I do like the stitching in the crest though. That's a cool touch. I got two in the mail today. First off, a Canada 2008 IIHF jersey with the 100th anny patch on the hem: These Swift jerseys are just awful. It feels like it's gonna disintegrate if I get it wet. I love the patch though. Then, a MeiGray pick-up, a 1945-46 Habs CCM Vintage team-issue: The real awesome thing about this one is that it's ULTRAFIL! I love it. Once I get the Vintage patch, it'll be perfect. It wasn't uncommon for teams to recycle their 1999-2000 jerseys for the 2000-01 pre-season. A lot of the Pro Player teams from 99-00 actually covered up the PP logo on the hem with swatches of fabric or hemmed the logo underneath. Yours is most likely a true pre-season jersey if there's no patch residue. It's just fairly rare to see teams use appropriately corresponding jerseys in those pre-seasons prior to recent years.
