lafountain
Games between Canda's Juniors and Russia's juniors starts up tomorrow. Players who are under-20 from both Countries will start a 8 Game Series on Monday. Could be fun to watch to see many of the future NHL-Stars and some of these guys aren't draft eligible until next year so it could be a good way to see some of next years prospects. DesertRat
Are any of these games to appear on American TV?
lafountain
Are any of these games to appear on American TV? I would love for any of these to air in the US, but I seriously doubt that any of them will. The first four games are being played in Russia, then the next 4 in Canada. lafountain
Canada 4 - Russia 2 in the First Game. Box score can be seen here. http://www.hockeycanada.ca/index.cfm/ci_id...ame_id/1337.htm
villavelocity
good first game. Mason did not look all that good though. they should ride Bernier.
Brilliant!
Anybody have any word on why Cherepanov was benched in the first game?

Just go to tsn.ca and see.
JeffB
Are any of these games to appear on American TV? We can't even get the World Juniors Championship in the US. I seriously doubt this series will be show here in the land of endless NFL Pre-season games.
SabreFaninNYC
TSN Broadband is showing the games. Just not sure if they are making them available worldwide or only in Canada. Just go to tsn.ca and see. If its tsn they probably still have that stupid American IP address block on. If the NHL was smart (what are the odds?) they would stream it on their site.... villavelocity
FYI- Sutter will give each goalie a chance to play in the series. I really believe that Bernier is the best of the 3 But i bet he wishes he could have had Carey Price!
lafountain
Canada 3 - Russia 0 in the 2nd game of the Series. From what I have read Bernier looked really good in net for Canada. For all you Phoenix fans, Turris scored his second goal in as many games in this one too. lafountain
Canada completed the series by going 7-0-1 in the 8 game set. Russia managed to get a tie in the 7th game 4-4, which based on what I read was their best chance to win a game in the series. Canada outscored Russia 39 - 13 in the series as well.
