JohnnyOnTheSpot
My girlfriend's bugging me for a Briere jersey. She's become a stickler for authenticity and I'd only get her decent quality, so the women's stuff is being ignored. I need the old Flyers Edge road, the one they wore in the SCF. That's her pick. I've seen a 46 before but I have no clue where to get one, or if they make smaller. To put her jersey size into perspective, she wears a child's medium in MLB jerseys :/ Help? NYIJM29
Was this the one that made the card? If yes, you need to buy her a gamer! RCS' smallest size is a 50 https://www.rivercitysports.com/US/details-06.cfm?sku=117895 Or you can do the replica (even if she doesn't want it) and get her a Briere and a Giroux! https://www.rivercitysports.com/US/details-06.cfm?sku=117595
DaNoobie
Pretty sure theres nothing smaller than 46. I'm not sure how small child medium is, but my guess is a 46 would be baggy on her since I can squeeze in a 46. Not sure a child medium would fit on me. The midriff and all that... would not be flattering
JohnnyOnTheSpot
Gah, stupid skinny girlfriend. Yes, it's the card one haha. I can't even buy me a gamer! When I'm a lawyer I'll just rent Briere for an evening or something haha. I'd get her the replica, but that'd still be baggy I'm sure plus she'd know she was getting gypped. So a 46 is comparable to...? Where the hell would I even find one?
DaNoobie
http://www.hockeymonkey.com/rbk-edge-jersey-sizing.html According to that, its 35~36" chest edit: http://www.jerseyexpress.com/nhl/philadelphia-flyers-jerseys/rbk-edge-authentic-philadelphia-flyers-home-jersey-6.html Dont know for sure if they're legit or not, but they seem to have 46 listed. Nathan
46 is legit, and it's the smallest Edge that's made. Replicas are sized as follows: infant, 2-4T, 4-7, youth S/M, youth L/XL (two versions of each of the youth jerseys), adult small, medium, large, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. Women's are sized small through 2XL. Edge are 46, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 58+, and 60.
rob77ta
My recommendation would be to stay away from authentics or men's replicas for women. They both have that big crest that can be troublesome for the ladies. Most womens replicas have a screenprinted crest so it is more comfortable for them to wear as it conforms better to their unique bodies. You can get her a womens replica with the screenprinted crest and take it to the skate zone for authentic lettering. That's probably what I would do. The midriff and all that... would not be flattering I can confirm this that a size 46 in EDGE is in fact the smallest authentic EDGE size. The only thing I can think of is the jersey may not be as baggy if she wears a hoodie underneath. Not sure how much that would help.
DaNoobie
maybe find a local store and go try it out first, see how a 46 feels and looks on her

JohnnyOnTheSpot
Though you'll probably have to check for spit. You mean tears? Anywho, thanks for the advice so far gentleman. I don't know where I'd go to have a 46 even tried on, but I have until Christmas to solve this mess so hopefully I can. Any other advice is greatly appreciated. redbeard3569
You have until Christmas? No problem. Buy a 52 and start feeding your girl lots of carbs. Probably easier to fatten her up a bit than it will be to find a tiny authentic jersey. Just tryin' to help. You're welcome.

Canucks are in my top 5...but in the playoffs everyone might as well be the Rangers to me. Well, the Rangers if they could win So it's fits like a men's medium shirt, eh? Interesting. And gahhh, home. She wants the freakin' away, but thanks! ###### picky biddies...
Brilliant!
Why don't you just see if you can have a size 46 tailored down to fit her? I can't imagine it would be THAT much. And I'm gonna let the Rangers remark go...seeing as the Flyers are on the fast track to joining them anyway!

akteon
Every time I see this thread title I think it's the title of a children's book about Daniel Briere (with a special guest appearance by Theo Fluery).

Ahhh good call man. Can anyone confirm this place is legit? And Akteon hahaha excellent. At least I'm making it a Briere! He and his life-partner Giroux both wear 52s I believe.
